The people who designed and built that car could never have dreamed it would be driving around in 2021 and have something with the incredible technology of the cell phone on the seat. How amazing and well done!

You make a very excellent point Jessica, i had reply to you months ago however i forgot to press send, instead only "closed" the comment so it was "lost". Huh! But i well remember this, and what i had said back when.. and because it keeps coming to mind? I am here again to state this verbatim, or best i can and better. Here we go; Excellent point! The people who build this car could never imagined this, and had we told them about cellular technology, they would of thought of us as crazy. So it is, as i see our future, not to far from now...space traveling to other planets, with the help and technology of an advanced race. Who visit and share their space technology freely. Openly and take us on to journeys far far way from here to galaxies light years away. As much as we couldn't even imagine this.. And may i add, no faith or belief will be required. Just as hand held cellular technology today is common, to see these devises slip' sliding around on this bench of an very old car. As if, it is nothing. Faith then as it will be now, will happen regardless of our limited beliefs. A very bright and promising future, despite anyone who would hope to stop it. They simply can't, nor ever will..in my own estimation. I said. And what reminds me of this, is a FB post from Wun Feather i will link bellow. As i will link this post and video to his page, with the utmost simplicity. So thanks for being here. And a wonderful thanks to wonder of work and success of this channel. It was such a pleasure to had followed all the videos, which climaxed to the above cognition, thanks to Jessica. And to God, whom inspired me to come back again, and again.. At first when i had lost the comm i "felt it must not have been meant to be" i wasn't wrong. I wasn't quite as ready maybe. Until now, and with Wun Feather. I think this cycle is complete. And done. m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=pfbid0nBQDd4KAVmM8UQpJq76oppRvcQbKLahahhcbeBT8NCVWi8BdxrrFKALTvFCscLejl&id=100009411195629

My first Long Beach Model T Swapmeet was in 1972, and I went every year for 20 years while it moved from the old Hamilton Bowl to Memorial Coliseum. We would get there at dawn Saturday, sleep at our site(s) that night and leave late on Sunday. Glad to set's not all lawn furniture and Subaru parts, as it was when last I was there. Thanks for the memories.Drive safely.

Jarred, I enjoyed your drive to the.swap meet. Good call on the #1 ignition coil. I have been driving Model T’s since since I was 18 years old and this is my 50 year anniversary of restoring Model T’s. I started at 15 years old and took 3 years to restore my early 1923 Model T with a Syverson Wagon Express.ash body. I still have it. Your driving is very good although I noticed that you consistently stay longer in low gear longer than I do. I baby that low gear transmission band. On my wish list is a Ruckstell 2 speed differential. My 1925 Model TT has a Ruckstell 2 speed diff and it is very useful even at the lower speeds of a TT. Well, back to changing a hand crank bushing. I like to use bronze oilite bushings whenever I can. By the way, the hand crank bushing is a 3/4” ID 1” OD 2 3/4” Long. Along with regular oiling, I have had long service life with oilite bushings. Thank you for posting this video..

when they 1st got married,my Parents had an identical T sedan .Until Dad swapped it for a 1929 Dodge Victory six.In todays traffic The constant pedal dance and advance throttle manipulation makes T driving a real experience. And because todays roads are jammed up, it's no problem driving a 100 year old car..A few years ago me and mate were driving a 1914 and were leaving cars behind out of the lights.

Jarred, Another great video! I love the automatic panning of the camera. How do you do that? Also you're a brave man for going that far. Of course that's a testament to the superb and thorough rebuild of your T! Did anybody else with T's there drive as far as you? I saw some Trailer Queen's there, which is no fun to me. You are probably experiencing the closest thing to how your T drove originally, except for the poor roads back then. That to have had to add another dimension of driving to the whole experience! I have 5 Corvairs that I have restored and I drive them regularly. Traffic in Michigan is a challenge for sure and that scares me more than fear of a breakdown. Keep up the great work! You are an inspiration to others. Regards, Casey in Detroit area, MI

How are you shifting into high without the handbrake lever? I thought you had to throw it forward or something before letting off the go pedal.
@Jerod_Helt
@Jerod_Helt Год назад
Once I start moving I release the parking brake all the way forward then I just use the “clutch pedal” to hold the car in neutral when coming to a stop. I only pull the parking brake handle back when I park the car. The video linked below goes into more detail on how to drive the car. How to Drive A Model T and Why It's So Hard to Drive on a Hill ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cPTtXpzLBSs.html

@jacksmith5692

The Model T doesn't have a wheel brake. The right pedal is a transmission brake. It stops the transmission. On the left is the lever and then the left pedal is the high/low speed and the middle pedal is reverse. The throttle is the lever on the right. The Model A that began in 1927 was more like a modern car. There were wheel brakes but the transmission was not synchronized called a non-synchronous transmission similar to a tractor. It requires double clutching to synchronize the speeds of the shafts within the transmission and you can also use the rpm's to shift without using the clutch called float shifting. When I learned to bobtail in 1980 I was taught to shift around 1,800 to 2,000 rpm's without the clutch.
