I wonder how many oil changes Charlie has to get a month . This man has driven enough miles to get to mars . Not just normal highway miles but hood miles
i@@nyykoo9041 it seem that he switches between a few different vehicles, and definitely has over the years. In most recent videos, it looks like he's driving a grand cherokee or a durango based on the hood design. I could be totally wrong though.
This neighborhood would be the equivalent of a working/middle class neighborhood in the US. There are definitely way more grimier and grittier parts of Tijuana.

people dont spend much on cars in the hood in mexico its not like the US where people have nice cars and their houses falling apart in rundown neighborhoods.
Your in a poor neighborhood Mercedes Benz and Cadillac are in Tijuana And American cant buy them becouse there registered in Mexico for the Mexican market
Well most of them do come from there after all, a lot of cars are imported or bought here illegally from the US, and you see many cars with California license plates, or from other states like Texas, Arizona, Nevada, etc.
Make sure you stop for a delicious chorizo burrito or a few street tacos with an ice cold orange Fanta it will definitely pack a 👊🏽 and it will get rid of the hunger pangs 😅 💪🏽
Fun fact: TJ used to be the party town for all of us back in the late 90s early 2000s. You could literally cross the border, be in another country , legal drinking age of 18 gettin LIT. Then sober up waiting to cross the border to get home. Good times indeed 🤦🏾♀️😂
I lived there from 2008-2011. It was when it was super bad. Seems like nothing much has changed. But if you are not involved then in illegal activities you can live a normal life.

From Boston. Lived in san Diego from 97 -2000. 2 things. Got lost coming home from a party place a couple hours south of Tijuana. We ended up going the wrong way near Tijuana and it was super scary. I had to drive me and my buddies and now we were lost. I had a brand new Camry. We finally turned around at a swap meet and I had to become baby driver and get out of the most frantic intersection I have ever seen. Well we finally found the road home. Another time we asked for some white stuff from a Tijuana cab driver at around 4am coming home. Well what he gave us kept us up for 3 days and we were welcomed to Southern California:)
Tijuana makes Chicago look like Disneyland. I lived in Tijuana for a few years. 2000 murders a year, and those are only the ones that are reported. I can assure you that when the city is active like that the number triples. Bodies are always showing up and the families will be lucky if they are in one piece
It's surprisingly not too bad in Tijuana. Sure it may look run down but its actually pretty calm in many parts in Tijuana. I would know, I used to live there.
That's one sunny ghetto charlie I'm sure it was a nice 75 to 80 degress when you went to Tijuana, Make sure to film on a snowny 20 degree day when you are back in Detroit this winter
It always fascinates me how all the other hoods and power Rish neighborhoods that I see all around the world don't ever seem as gloomy as Detroit or New York. I think of how the short summers that we have here in Detroit life... I would from the vitamin D and the high energy of the sunshine you're doing probably 20 life sentences if I was in Tijuana. 😅
And then afterwards probably shoot at your mother honestly. I'm only saying this because that's what happened to an American born cousin who moved back over there and barely started getting involved like an ridiculous person

it's sad that I felt safer in Tijuana than I did in many US cities, with Atlanta and Shreveport being the most unsafe feeling. I got so used to how chill TJ was that I would leave my car door unlocked, or the windows down and my stuff would still be there in the morning. Not that I'm ignorant to what happens there, I was always cautious. But the people were so nice and with no drug addicts, aggressive or suspicious looking people walking around, I would sometimes forget and let my guard down. I will say that I do stay away from the ghetto parts and Zona Norte, so maybe it's that.
I don’t think this comment is real because TJ has one of the highest property crimes ever, air ports literally advise people to not go out of safe zone due to them becoming targets if they see luggage
Charlie, I hope you do a drive in my town San Jose, CA. Recommended locations is Cadillac Dr and East San Jose, especially Story and King. Cadillac Drive is interesting in that it's part of a 3 block high crime area surrounded by upper middle class housing. Story & King have had some murders happen.
I used to do that, was down there during covid and crossing was a breeze. 20-30 minute wait time blew my mind. It was lovely down there. After covid died down and more places started opening again eventually the border wait time got longer and longer and I hated waiting hours to cross so I decided to return to Houston. I miss Tijuana, hopefully I can return again someday.
That’s never going to happen, were aren’t in the 1840s anymore. Any attempt from the US to invade Mexico in the present will be catastrophic, worse than Vietnam or Afghanistan.
Why don't your drive through nice neighborhoods? will it ruin the distorted image of Tijuana? go up by the Tijuana golf course to Chapultepec neighborhoods, beautiful home, swimming pools, seen home with tennis courts, even private discos in people huge homes, go look why not?, NOT NEWS WORTHY?
