Thank 'fork' I found this. The tell tale motor buzz suggested an issue or BOTH. Found the rear bowls largely in pieces. The metal retaining ring held in with wood screws. Now I know what goes where. Thank you.
The speaker says to connect the DRL wires to a sidelight connection - that's illegal. The DRL's need to switch on with the ignition (or they're not DRL's) and off with the side/head lights because they are too bright to be on at night. The easiest way to do this is through a single pole, double throw relay, the coil of which is connected to a sidelight power feed and the DRL's routed through the normally closed contact.
Hey guys where did you get those head lights. I brought a pair offline and followed the vid works great but the headlights are on an angle and I can't rotate them to fit so I'll buy those ones cause I know they fit! Thanks
