Today we're going to work on a Drop and Hit drill. This is where you strike the ball half the distance between you and the side wall. From each of these locations, you're going to hit three shots: Down the Line, Pinch and Cross Court.
The first one you'll hit in the middle and hit all three shots here. Then you're going to go half the distance between you and the side wall and hit all three shots from this location. Then you're going to come over to the side wall, get an arm-racquet length from the wall (so you can't hit the wall) and hit all three shots from this location.
You want to make sure that you hit one shot right after the other. You're creating a loop of three and you want to do it 20 times. You do them in the following order: Down-The-Line, Pinch Shot and finally a Cross-Court.
Then you move back towards the back wall a bit and do it all over again from those three locations. Next, you repeat the process but move back even further.
