Thank you i was looking for a video to guide me on what to do to anchor down my canopy and i came across with your wonderful video , again thank you so much, keep up the good work!!
Does it keep the top sturdy, even with the anchor a foot or two away from the leg? Wanting to do this to my 20x14 aluminum gazebo with the pitched roof. I have it drilled into the concrete, but the top still flexes. Feel like this will secure the top.
Hey Adam, the eyebolt that you're showing is not adequate, you need to use eyebolts with a solid ring. Compare the weight capacity of of the open ended to the "Hillman" type at HD. On a 3/8" open ended less than 200lbs. while the Hillman is over 1000! I used to lift things up and put them down for a living, lol! If you want to get real fancy, they make ones that swivel as well, very expensive though. Drop In anchors are great though!
