In this video, I fulfill a goal I've had for some time, and hike into the Grand Canyon through the north rim's North Kaibab Trail.
The canyon is both dangerous and utterly spectacular... had a blast filming its depths for you all from a perspective that one does not gain from the overlooks at top.

I’m doing this trail tomorrow and I’m researching to see how far I’ll go and wow this video is just amazing. Everything from the images, angles, narrative, music and the calming voice it’s an amerce experience.

Wow, what a visual feast. After watching your last video, the lead-up to this one, I thought this would be pretty special. You certainly didn't disappoint in that regard. Thanks for taking us along in the passenger seat!

Gladly. :) Certainly a less strenuous way to experience the canyon!

I've done a bit of the South Kaibab trail, but I'd say that this is even more stunning.

Was completely spectacular... especially if you can hike it in the fall, I so highly recommend it. Those deep reds from the fall foliage made it remarkable (and was only in the 50s temperature-wise... much better than the oven of the summer!).

Very glad to! Been a goal for a very long time, and felt incredible to explore the place in that way. Epic and awesome in every real sense of the words.

Unbelievably beautiful patterns and colors! I like what you said about respect. In our neck of the woods people die every year in the White mts. And on Mount Washington. Respect for the Mountains and their unpredictable nature will lead to wiser decision making while hiking. This was such an enjoyable trip! Thanks!

Gladly! :) Very much so... there's not a second while in there that it wasn't obvious that I was in the canyon's domain. Can only imagine when it's 50 degrees warmer!

Great video. Found your channel from Katydid. The views of the canyon were amazing, I bet they were even better in person.

Very were! You really do feel like you're in the presence of a different kind of nature. Just utterly dwarfed by what you're surrounded by.

Did you find the Monolith yet?
@tedspirakis627
@tedspirakis627 3 года назад
As of today, the monolith has mysteriously disappeared, and was located prior in a remote part of Utah.

@@tedspirakis627 Thanks, my American geography is not the best. I thought you were joking but the Monolith is gone😭 forever. Who would do that... Not fair.

@@shtml54 No sir, it's gone! I just read the news this AM. Nobody knows anything about how it got there, and how it just vanished.

Was out of Utah when it cropped up I’m afraid. Cool bit of art though!

@@WonderlustAdventures It's the coolest thing to happen this year. BTW, loved your video and music in it.

liked the video part. HATED the music you put in.. Get rid of that and let the silence of the trail and the noise of your boots walking on the soil be the sounds we hear.
