I love how Emily always compares a high end something to a drugstore product that she just almost always loves more. Not always but I love my drugstore stuff so it’s always amazing to hear her comparisons..
My fav packaging was the Estee Lauder lipstick, so stunningly classy. The darkest shade in the Milani lipsticks was my fav. The Maybelline color stay crayons are the best. How many of their shades to you have? Just thinking, , would it be feasible to do a video trying on the shades you have in that line? Love you Em and love spending time with you!!💜💜💄💄💄
And that darkest Milani lipstick (Dahlia) wore SO WELL. I was still removing color at the end of the day when I took my makeup off. Granted it wasn't perfectly fresh and even, but it pretty much stained. Good call on the full try on of the Superstay crayons - I think I have about 10 shades now! :)
I really, really appreciated you telling us that the one smelled like Vick’s Vapor Rub. 😂 But more seriously, I’d really love for you let us know the scents of lip products when you do other reviews or full face walkthroughs. I know I’m not alone when I say that I’m super sensitive to smells, so knowing if something has a vanilla, cherry, or Vick’s smell is important to me when ordering online. Just something handy that I’m sure others would enjoy to know! 😊
I agree! I havent worn Loreal, Estee Lauder, or Bobbi Brown lipsticks in years because of how scented the ones i tried in the past. A lipstick can be the perfect shade, but if the scent is too much, I walk away
Yes, Lisa Eldridge has a satin formula, almost balmy, that you would absolutely love. It's called Luxuriously Lucent. They are highly pigmented and have the perfect combination of thickness and slip. They last a long time, considering they are not purported to do so. With your coloring, you'd love "Painterly" or "Spirited Away". If you want a very bright, Barbie pink for spring and summer, I recommend "Love of My Life". I find the others in this Lucent collection too pale or too orange/coral. (I gave them away to friends who prefer those undertones and they are thrilled with them!) BTW---from this same Matte group you tried, you'd fall head over heels for Velvet Cinnabar (a burnt cinnamon red, in the vein of the gingerbread shades you favor in autumn) Velvet Ribbon (a classic red with old-Hollywood glamour--check out Claire Foy in "A Very British Scandal" and Nicole Kidman in "Being the Ricardos" to see that particular shade against fair skin like yours) and Velvet Blush (a dusty rose, similar to MAC's Mehr and Twig). If I were to choose only one, Cinnabar is much more "special" in shade and undertones than Ribbon or Blush are and much more worthy of a splurge.
I am loving the garland decorations. The green with the white lights, then adding seasonal colors is great. The colored foils catching the lights is so pretty ! It all adds a sweet ambiance, while also offering a kind of 'timestamp', very pleasing. And, as always, your & your content are fantastic ! Love you, EM.
I have several of the Lisa Eldridge lipsticks, the staying power even when you are wearing a mask is phenomenal and they are so saturated with pigment. I love the shade velvet blush it’s absolutely stunning on the lips and a colour I think you would love. Blush lightly is a slightly paler version but blush is the ultimate deep dusky berry and blush lightly is the paler more subdued sister. X
I know Emily would love "Velvet Blush"! It's right up her alley, with the dusty rose vibe she loves. I have quite a few of them, my favorites are Blush, Muse, Affair, Ribbon, and Cinnabar. I don't usually like warm, brick reds...but Cinnabar is to die for!
Emily, I have never seen you put on a shade of lipstick that doesn’t look gorgeous on you! I’m so envious of that! I appreciate the mask content. Last year at this time I dumped every lip product I had because I wasn't wearing them! I'm slowly restocking thoughtfully, and wearing them under my mask because I do it for myself.❤️❤️
@@emilynoel83 It's nice to see you do variations of colour. So many are stuck in a rut with the boring nude lip and drawing away the cupid's bow (eew, bad trend), and that gets old pretty fast. They'll regret it looking back in time.
the estee lauder one almost looks like a softer version of Snow White's lips. Love it! Looks great on you! I also think the Mulberry Bliss shade looks beautiful as well as the Lisa Eldridge one - wow!

I love the BK beauty lipliners and lipsticks. They are creamy and moisturizing. The liner and lipstick combo is fairly long lasting. Lipstick by itself lasts, but not that long. Thanks for this video, Em!
I got that Mulberry shade in the L’Oréal. I’m loving the balmy, moisturizing, textures lately and even bought two Sephora lipglosses. Yes we are masking, but we’re also Zooming and WebExing, and a sheer, juicy, fruity lip looks great in video. Another lipstick to try? Clarins. Gorgeous lipsticks. Gorgeous packaging.
Love the Lisa Eldridge lipsticks! My favorite formula is actually the Luxuriously Lucent line. Kitten Mischief is my favorite every day lipstick. And her glosses are also incredible. They feel like a balm. Songbird is a beautiful light pink that goes with everything.
Your hair looks so pretty! I am a MAC and Charlotte Tilbury lip girl. I also have 2 Wayne Goss lippies and love them too. I always put Buxom lip glosses on top! I just can't leave that step out!!! I think the colors you choose look great on you. You have dark hair and perfect skin tone for those colors. I am fair skinned with Ash blonde colored hair so I stick to neutrals!

I am hurting today and watching this just made me smile. It's time for my lipstick sift and I just keep missing those Revlon lip butters. Maybe a bit more oil balm in consistency but I would love a revival of those colors! 😘
me too, I miss the lip butters. They had a rich, creamy texture that none of the others have. I don't like the slippery texture most of these buttery lipcolors have these days. Revlon had another lipstick years ago called colorburst that I l loved and it was discontinued. There was another one back in the 90s called outrageous in a gold tube that was fantastic. I still have an old tube for nostalgia purposes. They discontinued that one too. Lets pray that they don't change super lustrous, that would be horrible!. Hope you have a better day tomorrow.

I wonder how you’d look like with a more modern beachy waves hairstyle. I think you can achieve it with the new curling iron you just bought, the yellow one. It would make a great video! First time trying a new hairstyle on camera and following tutorials etc.

I have all of Lisa Eldridge’s lipstick (yes, literally all…no apologies 😆) I love the velvet mattes but the luxuriously lucent are great for everyday. I think you’d like “Spirited Away” and “Rose Official” but honestly any would be fun to try. Signed, Head of the Lisa Eldridge Fan club 😉
I purchased the Loreal Glow Paradise in color 200 Mulberry Bliss. After applying I thought this looks a lot like the Color Riche Shine in 904 Vanishing Rosewood. I did a swatch test and a side by side wear test, and sure enough they looked the same. The Glow Balm is just a little more sheer than the Color Riche Shine. The display had a lot of colors that were very similar to the Color Riche Shine. Not a bad product. Nice if you want something with a lighter feel on the lips.
I wish I could find a dupe for Revlon Super Lustrous lipstick in the shade Bed of Roses. It's been off the market for a while, really miss it! I don't have any Milani items, but those look worth a try. Great video!
Just when I told myself no more lip products you hit me with these beauties. These are right up my alley. I find myself wanting tinted skin hydrating/serum foundations and balmy lip colors these days.

You and I have the same complexion/coloring and these lipsticks are only available online and there's no model on the website who has my/our coloring so I have no idea how they'd look on me/us. But I like her other formula of lipsticks also. Love Kitten Mischief, Spirited Away the most. And her gloss in affair is my go to gloss. But that Estee Lauder lipstick appeals to me also. Looks like a perfect red for me. But I realize since the pandemic my lipsticks are not jused that much, so I have to try up what i already own. If I can manage that it eccually be a miracle...

Live the Lisa Eldridge foundation, lipsticks and glosses. She does restocks so get on her email list so you have better stock options. Her other formula is just as amazing and the glosses are awesome. Ribbon is the most perfect red ever.
I really like wearing hydrating stuff under my mask. I find that the mask dries up my lips faster, so something like a gloss that sticks on the lips and doesn't move around like a balm. I feel like that's the opposite of most people that still are down for lipstick, as the liquid lips seem to be having a moment
The Milani Color Fetish lipstick in Dahlia -- it reminds me of a Christian Dior lipstick I had in the late 80's/early 90's called Cadeau. I've been thinking about it lately. I may have to get Dahlia.
I believe the 'texture' on the LE lipstick bullets is to resemble 'velvet' the name of that particular line. Hope to own some of Lis's products one day, she is an icon.
I haven't worn any lip products apart from lip balm in almost 2 years because of wearing a mask but I'm excited to declutter some of my old lipsticks and get a couple of fresh ones and get back into wearing them! I used to wear a different colour every day to work and it was my thing 😂😊🥰
Thanks for the observation about lip products and masks. We switched over to N95 masks from cloth. It was $60.00 for a decent supply. We hang them for a few days, after use, so they can be worn again. (Each family member puts an initial on their own) If I forget about my lip product I don't wanna destroy my mask, lol.
LOVE the hair! I am so jealous of your hair!!! Mine is so so fine and thin and static-ridden that even though I curl it every day for volume it still looks limp and sad especially by the end of the day...but I only ever use a curling iron so maybe I should try rollers, but not sure they would work on my shorter hair....but the important part is your hair looks fantastic!
Always fun to watch! LE doesn't have a cream formula yet- just matte, sheer & gloss. I'm a big fan. I think Velvet Affair is one of my favorite shades (for my skin tone). In the sheer formula I really like Spirited Away and Atomic Cherry. I'd love to hear your thoughts and looking forward to your foundation review, I haven't tried that yet!
These lip try on videos of yours are my favorite! I really wish I could do Loreal lipsticks; I can only handle the Infallible line, the rest have a smell that is nauseating to me.
