What they created between early 74 to late 76, almost three years and they put out KISS, Hotter Than Hell, Dressed to Kill, ALIVE!, Destroyer and Rock And Roll Over...all classic albums on top level! Back then noone could stop them!

As well as the Live @ Cobo "Let Me Go, Rock And Roll"!!! There are two very different versions which have a lot to do with the mix but one of them is closest to Alive I've ever seen/heard. It's Pure Awesomeness!!!

Peter was not a flashy soloing drummer, he’s no Neil Peart, BUT he had a unique style that complemented the songs he played on. There was no other hard rock drummer that had that swing style. He was a critical part of the best era of KISS music.

Been to Winterland to see a lot of concerts back in the day , but when I saw kISS, they were playing the Cow Palace in San Francisco, which was the next venue up from Winterland and I believe was the following year from this concert Peter Criss would do some of the coolest showiest drum solos - that means good drumming with a lot of smoke a riser lights, and things exploding while he did it 😂

Dirty, nasty and RAW! Love this era. Does the pyro seem to be REALLY close to them? Maybe it's the camera angle. I mean, they could feel the heat for sure. I would have loved to have seen them in this era. Kiss actually came to my hometown of Montgomery Alabama around Halloween in 1975. They were too wild and I was too young for my parents to let me see them, but dang that would have been cool. My next door neighbor remembers seeing this show in Montgomery and said it was incredible. Had some religious protestors outside of the coliseum.

Peter Criss was my first big influence. I remember learning that solo off Kiss Alive, 100,000 Years. I remember getting a cowbell so I could to that part he does. I still use that Peter Criss shuffle beat. I probably owe him money I've used it so much! Lol

Ace was finger tapping long before Van Halen. Peter was amazing, they all were. Gene and Paul might of been the business but Ace and Peter were the heart. Can't imagine them going that far without a heart ... Sad that they couldn't have had respect for what it took all four to build.

Peter was a Jazz drummer that studied under Gene Krupa. He brought a jazz style to Rock. That’s why there’s all those ghost notes. Peter is my favorite. This song on the Alive tour has the best drum solo that I memorized at the age of 14. I can still play it today

that is the slingerland radio King snare that he used all the way up through rock and roll over then he went to that really the Deep pearl 14 x 8 aluminum and maple snare which you can hear on Kiss Alive 2 which has that distinct incredible sound kind of reminds me of a marching band snare

Really loves your reaction to KISS in the -70:s. Started listening in the late -70:s early-80.s and I was mindblown as a 12-13 year old kid. Great reaction to a very classic and under rated song I liked how you broke down Peter's drumming style and you didn't put him down like so many others have. I could suggest so many others but instead you asked us a ? on which song you should cover here are a few that when you take time to listen to then it would be great is for you to not only play them but also break it down on how to play it as well for all those who have been playing drums or want to start, the songs I would like for you to play is Love Gun , God of Thunder, Nothin to Lose, War Machine , Fire House, and Unholy these songs have very good drumming parts in them and it would be great to have play and also do a reaction to as well.
