I worked for a criminal defense law firm and in my experience there, 99.9% of our clients had alcohol/drug charges with whatever else they did. Most of them were deep into addiction so it got super hard to deal with them. A lot of hand holding and explaining things many many maaaaaany times because their memories are mush! I switched to the personal injury department because I got so burnt out!
