Dear Pastor Bob: Some inside the Christian realm will say that we need to be "drunk in the Spirit" like the Apostles at Pentecost, if we truly desire to feel God’s power. Do you have any thoughts on this?

Great sermon! I passed it on to my newly born-again headbanger son Kevin! Lol. I also told him about Immortal RockFest, where my beloved Pastor Billy Crone, will be speaking, along with you, and about The Blast.FM Christian Rock radio station. Awesome! 🙏😇📖👏👏👏💕💕💕💕💕💜💜💜💜💜 I'm 70 years old now and was in a death thrash metal band called Morality here in Las Vegas. I also played harp with top bands at the Troubadour, Bullfrog's Ocean Beach, Fillmore East N.Y., and others. Good times.... Just going to church doesn't make you a born-again Christian any more than going to a doctor's office makes you a doctor, or going to a garage makes you a mechanic. Matthew 22:14 “For many are called, but few are chosen.” Half obedience is still disobedience! REPENT! Blessings, love, and peace to all! God gets all the glory and Jesus, His Son, is my Savior! 🙏🙏🙏📖📖📖😇🎭🎭🎭

Amen Bob Jesus who was constantly filled with The Spirit NEVER displayed today's "manifestations " of being drunk falling down barking lshaking etc Not at His baptism,temptation or anytime. We follow Gods word and the Christ described therein _ not modern charasmaniacs...

Thanks brother Bob I used to be a spiritual drunk and it can really mess you up,I was saved in that kind of church in "95" It took years to get away from that it was all I knew until God took me out of the church.

More scriptures: *Proverbs 23:20f:* "Do not mix with winebibbers, or gluttonous eaters of meat, for drunkards and gluttons become poor, and drowsiness clothes them in rags." *Isaiah 5:11f:* "Woe to those who rise early in the morning to run after their drinks, who stay up late at night till they are inflamed with wine. They have harps and lyres at their banquets, tambourines and flutes and wine, but they have no regard for the deeds of the LORD, no respect for the work of his hands." *Galatians 5:19-21:* "The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: ... drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God." *Ephesians 5:18:* "Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit." I'm going to have to disagree with you about the emotional thing though, Pastor.

Well said. Being filled with the holy spirit means controlled by the holy spirit. It is not based on emotions.

Amen. Thank you Pastor Bob for sharing, God bless you my Brother in Christ. Just like it says in 👇 1 Thessalonians 5:19 "QUENCH NOT THE SPIRIT." Amen. Meaning it's an on going Spirit from The Lord God Jesus Christ. Amen.

Hi Bob! Thx 4 your view with the scripture. I'm on a similar page, with a slight difference about drunkeness in the Holy Ghost. I experience from time to time that God let my friends have such highs, but always with the knowledge & belief, that Sola Scriptura with the support of the Holy Ghost & not 10% of what's written & 90% being shaken or made drunk by the Spirit is what makes everyday life in Christ. God's grace is bigger than our understanding. Bless and thanks big time. Chris from 🇨🇭
