I THINK that police can’t question people if they say they want a lawyer present or to consult with first. Probably most people don’t have a personal lawyer on speed dial and so in other cases the person would be taken to the station and held until they see a lawyer or decide to talk with cops. Especially if he wasn’t arrested yet he may wish to agree to answer questions so he won’t be detained at the station. I think that might be how it works, but I’d need to look that up to be sure. 🧐

Funny thing is; if he was doing what he did while he was still either just a lawyer or a state rep he would have probably been charged and convicted based upon whatever the charges were (assault, aggravated assault, public drunkenness and such) AND then suspended or disbarred and/or removed from his legislative seat by virtue of a criminal conviction. But now, as a Supreme Court Justice he apparently gets a political pass and a pat on the tushy.

I remember when angry Cops shared this video. I knew this judge would never ever be prosecuted! Not only should he be prosecuted, but he should lose his license to practice law anywhere! These people are giving insane privileges and power over the rest of us, and as such they should be held to a higher standard. When they violate the laws they are sworn to uphold, their punishment should be Swift and MORE severe!

This is unacceptable. That news station should have interviewed the officers involved. Especially that officer that yelled at the judge. There is no way that guy wasn't going to throw the book at this judge of charges until someone higher up probably told him not to. I hope there is more backlash over this because any civilian pushing a cop like that would get charged and the DA knows it.

As an outsider looking at the USA, your system is so mired in corruption, it will never be able to shake the slime that clings to it. You stole the land from the original owners by slaughtering them and justified that by calling them savages. It just got worse from there. Now you are trying to export your corruption to countries worldwide, especially if those countries have oil, expensive natural resources or just because they feel like it.

The only problem with this idea is that "favors" are dependent on the honor of the person needing to return the favor. Blackmail is different in that there is a future consequence for not going along with it, but in this case the judge and his wife are already not charged. It is practically impossible for the DA to try and re-file charges if down the line the judge decides not to give him the favor when he asks for it. I, personally, would not put my faith in the drunk power hungry jerk feeling honorable enough to return the favor when it comes due.

She also resisted arrest, technically when she ran that was felony evasion, she interfered with an investigation, disorderly conduct, making terroristic threats, assault and battery and worst of all, ZERO charges for anything. She got off scot free.

Wow and he got to call his lawyer from the back seat of the cruser!! I watch many of these videos and almost without exception the person getting arrested asks to call their lawyer, and are advised they can do so at the police station after processing. He should have been arrested for public distrubance, and assult on a LEO at the very least. Why didnt the neighbours file charges. WOW!!!!
