Who's the first news experience this, I know once the accusation is made the damage is already done. Unfortunately when an accusation goes public and your family, friends and community hear about it. And most people don't have the benefit of having you're innocent making the news,
It took them over a month to look at video and doing actual follow up, I hope this guy sues the hell out of this woman and the city. This Me Too movement crap is just about destroying lives.
What needs to happen is this. The man needs to be released, and have the arrest, conviction, and prison sentence expunged from his record. She owes him at minimum 25k for defemation with no bail, as what she did was blatantly malicious, and premeditated. She also needs to be in prison for a minimum of 10 years and be put of a false SA accusers list. So if she ever made another SA claim, itd be taken with absolute scrutiny and no actions would be taken on just her word alone. She would need to provide proof that can be verified as legitimate before action can be done. If it turns out to be a lie, she goes back to jail. Enough of letting false accusers abuse the bias to attack men and ruin their lives with lies and deception.

I have a 21 month old and no way in hell am I taking may eyes off her. When she goes off to play in another room I’m following behind her. Couldn’t even get a family member to look after her. This story hearts my heart something terrible.
Although this video is not about Venezuelans but immigration law, let me give you some insight as a Venezuelan immigrant myself now being in the U.S. for over 22 years. This dude is the classic example of what western civilization refers to as an opportunist, and what Venezuelans refer to as a "vivo". The difference, however, is that in this country, opportunists are rightly seen as selfish low life's while in Venezuela opportunists are generally admired among the population. Being called a "vivo" is equivalent to being perceived as cunning. But cunning people do not make for a well-organized society with a working judicial system and a sense of community. A country where opportunism is admired instead of despised leads exactly to where Venezuela is today. A beautiful country full or resources run to the ground.
Felony murder is the most idiotic law ever. I do not know why people complain about qualified immunity, eminent domain, etc. and just shrug and say Ok in this case.

When someone like this is allowed to stay in office after what she has done we the people have to ask, how? We have no choice but the blame to boss. Who is the boss? Wait why is it hard to make the argument they where not justified in shooting? The police had no right to be there. If I as a civilian went to the wrong house in the middle of the night shined bright lights in the owner’s eyes and the owner came out with a gun am I allowed to shoot him? If not why do you think the police operate under some separate set of laws?
I found something that you said at the end interesting "she is the biggest racist on the panel, and she doesn't even know why" I think very often, racists don't understand racism. Those are the people saying "how could I be racist, I have *insert ethnicity* friends!" I think so much racism is taught surreptitiously and woven into normality.
Why the hell was her bail so cheap? And how can anybody say prosecuting her might dissuade another woman from coming forward, when they have no trouble coming forward even when nothing actually happened? She needs to be made an example out of.
