I've said it before - there needs to be a police guard out by each King's Guard for crowd control, preventing these eejit tourists from crowding the guards and their horses and for instances like this - the man was publicly intoxicated, a danger to everyone and should have been arrested - they didn't even take the bottle away from him unless they did so after this video ended - maybe it needs to go viral that apparently the only thing that matters to the monarchy is the tourists' money - if the monarchy doesn't respect and protect its military guards/horses why would you think the tourists should? tourists think this is an amusement park or petting zoo!

What the heck is wrong with people , seriously you can't be drinking around the guards and horses that's highly disrespectful. I really do feel for the guards have to see and put up with the idiotic , appalling behaviour from all adults you're ALL fully grown adults start behaving like one and not act like a bunch of children. All these on duty guards deserve respect for the job they all do on an daily basis. They all have patience of an saint and the beautiful horses do too.

He was laying down drunk with alcohol bottle in his hand next to the horse guard box!!!!! Tourists with children around him. Where is the regard for safety? How strange he was let off so easy even if harmless it is a terrible lack of judgement to let someone disrupt the sidewalk in front of an historical building crowded with tourist. Note: horses don’t like drunks on them or near them. Not a good look for London.

I really feel in this country we need tougher laws on alcohol consumption and accepted areas and behaviour similar to other countries. As tourists in main land Europe I have rarely seen this behaviour.

It's about time someone sent few of these vids to king Charles security team and let them see it show it to king Charles and get him to stop this harassment of his guards and his horses .

They should've had him arrested and taken to jail to sleep it off. It looks like they just made him go somewhere else to cause problems for someone else. Maybe they did eventually arrest him after the video ended. I hope he gets the help he needs.

the guy is obviously in a bad way (place). Just moving him on means he takes his problem elsewhere and maybe runs into some roughies who do him damage. He is not a bad guy just because the drink got to him, it happens to many all the time, so let's not be too judgemental, I realise it is disturbing and upsetting to see. IMO, he should have been gently arrested for causing a public nuisance (as gentle as he allowed himself to be arrested) and taken to a cell to dry out a bit, then let off with a caution. Him wandering off into the wilderness is just shuffling the problem around in a Metropolis where anything can happen and also means a lot of other tourists will experience his behaviour when they least need it, particularly if they have children with them.

I don't understand why in this day there are horse guards standing there. I wonder how long their shift is. Poor horses, let alone the boredom for the guard. Pretty sure he would be arrested for public drinking here.

Why are the British police so damn SOFT in instances such as this??? It is truly pathetic. If it was American police, they would have kicked that drunken prats a##, and dealt with him as he deserved to be dealt with. He would have been charged with some being DRUNK AND CAUSING A NUISANCE IN PUBLIC, and thrown in jail for 48 hrs minimum (or something tough and appropriate). Why is the total prat, drunk in a HIGH TOURIST ACTIVITY AREA??? Why isn't he with some other drunks in a park somewhere, away from the tourists?
