Sure Ill do an overview on how I did it and show what it looks like. I have some footage of removing the port but not of putting it on, Ill see what I can put together for you. This wasn't that hard to fit due to port size and motherboard layout, I didn't even have to fully disassemble it to install. Love my DS lite. Should be up tonight or tomorrow.

That's cool! I would really want to do this with my DSi and New 3DS XL. The proprietary cables for those consoles are getting harder to find, plus in my region, I also need to use a transformer to not fry my consoles. It's inconvenient to carry all of that if i want to play outside.
Yeah Nintendo had a habit of making a new charger for each new console. I have a video up of a dsi xl that I did should be the same as a normal dsi. I have a regular dsi laying around that I'll make a video on next. Yeah using USB C ports makes it easy to get power especially overseas that way its just DC to DC instead of AC to DC.

Thats one thing with USB C, most cables have a gap since phones are usually more recessed. I will try pushing it back more to compensate. I do see what you are saying. Thanks for the feedback, I will try that on the next one I do, Just finished a DSI mod so it will have to be the next thing I try not that one. Did that one the same way port flush with the outside.
