considering the weapon needed to actually kill him effectively.....WIND SCAR!

he could've been a much more badass boss too...like fire sword wave beams, boomerang sword....a grapple attack in which he grabs you and if there are pillars he would then run up to and smash you through them before setting you on fire and throwing you. if there are no pillars its just a throw. a spin attack of sorts...oh, and when he does the foot slam while in second phase he could still have the fire shockwave, but seconds after pillars of literal flames burst out of the ground. yeah storm ruler is still able to stagger him and damage him a ton as usual, but actually getting to use storm ruler on him is made more tedious with the added suggestions I have shown here...what would you think of a fight like that?

its awesome. heh, I haven't even looked up what the actual battle is like, as I intend to experience it all for myself. still, I did make sure to look up just what kind of trolling the pvp brings so that I'm prepared for it. I do not want to get caught off guard. thankfully my paranoia is actually useful here in this game series...(though while playing souls 1 it kinda got boosted a shit ton) still, I fully intend to do all I can to survive in pvp, even if I have to play dirty to kill off invaders...currently in souls 1 I'm stuck on the ceaseless charge boss fight....would appreciate assistance...(is cursing myself for falling to the temptation to pick up items from dead bodies)

Pretty much. Turn off the SFX and run around Yhorm's boss room for 21 mins and you'll achieve an inferior yet comparable experience.

wait, so yhorm's grunts and explosions....(that came out wrong) don't enhance the experience for you? :P
