@@HangryMuscle usually print width sensor is dirty and has to be cleaned . have to take off print head to get to it. the faster way is look up using packaging tape on film for PW sensor to see the sheet. Look on youtube how to do that its easy and works.
@jerrybarno7757 the sensor is not usually the issue because regular paper prints fine and the printhead does NOT need to be removed to clean the sensor Idk why idiots keep suggesting this. I came up with the blue tape hack, it is not necessary to use tape when the printer is setup and used correctly.
@HangryMuscle love how you just call people idiots right off the bat. Heres a question since your clearly not an idiot. Why did film work without a problem when the printer is brand new???? And why is it that when I cleaned the PW sensor I was able to feed film in without using tape? And yes on the 8550 the PW sensor is under the print head. For proper cleaning you have to remove the print head. Ive tried other methods and it isnt as good. I doubt you invented the tape trick thats been around for a while dont be so full of yourself. You made a video your going to get comments. Man up brah.
im using Digital factory 10, i've tried digital factory 11, and now i see you're using acroRIP and still having the same problems. i cannot figure out how to get the printer to not print a cropped image it makes no sense. do you have any suggestions ?
Yes, don't let the printer sit idle when it's connected to your pc and make sure you're using the correct settings for the film/paper you're printing on.
This started to happen to me suddenly , the waste of a film is not really a solution , this is software related , I restarted my pc and the printer , not sure the cause of that but it is a headache , not sure when it is going to happen , causing wasting ink and pet film.
It can give the jam/cropped images for various reasons, it if was printing before, disconnect/reconnect the usb and dongle. Adjusting the paper type can also resolve this.
My white channels isn't putting any ink down. exactly how do you unclog the printhead? I took it apart and cleaned around the inside like you did in your other video, but there isn't any nozzles pointing up like other Epson's to push solution through... (HELP PLEASE)

Various reasons cause it, without troubleshooting it and gathering more info, it's hard to tell for sure. The most common causes are communication issues with the pc/rip and printer, film being used, and settings.
