Ducelick's whirligig update: using Sculpwood Putty, and welding miniature eyeglasses 

Hi friend! This video shows the work I've finished on the grandma figure for Ducelick's whirligig. To fill out the figure some, I used some Sculpwood Putty to give the figure a dress with lots of folds. I also used some putty to add some hair to the figure. After painting the figure, I fashioned some miniature eyeglasses out of some 1/16" steel welding rod. After welding the glasses together, I powder coated them a "brassy gold."
Next, I will finish carving the shoes/legs, and then I will re-work the rocking chair I made for grandma so it fits her better. After that, I will try to get it all working. It's starting to get excitning!
