Duck & Cover // Eurorack, Digitakt, Hydra Video Synthesizer

Finally found enough motivation to finish another track!
This one came about after I got an LPG from Mystic Circuits. I enjoyed building it and I love how the z3000 sounds going through it.
I've been having a ton of fun with the Hydra Video Synthesizer. Very easy to start, and can get pretty crazy. For this video I used Hydra as an NPM package and hooked it up to my workspace.
Here is how it works:
- I have envelope followers on several tracks (like the kick)
- Ableton is sending MIDI data through a virtual MIDI device (using loopMIDI). This includes the envelope follower data as well as some other triggers from the Digitakt
- I'm using webmidi on the browser to receive MIDI data from that virtual MIDI device
- Since every parameter in Hydra can be a function as well, I pass a callback that uses the current MIDI data (e.g. kick level) for some parameters (e.g. brightness)
This was easier than I thought it would be, and I will for sure continue using Hydra to see what I can come up with.

==Patch Notes==
Everything was sequenced by the Digitakt using a CV.OCD, recorded to and mixed on Ableton. Digitakt is also on drum duties.
Divkid's OCHD's LFOs are sprinkled throughout for some movement.
_Arpeggio_
The Tiptop Z300 square is going through the Mystic Circuits 0hp LPG and then through the Doepfer Wasp filter. Finally it's going through the Erica Pico DSP for occasional delay effects. The wasp filter sounds great and gives everything an interesting character when I crank the resonance up.
The sine wave comes in at about the halfway point, with a lot of delay and reverb and an LFO on the volume so it drifts in and out.
_Melody_
This the Mutable Instrument Braids in "BOWD" mode with some Valhalla Room reverb.
_Bass_
The sub bass is coming from the Expert Sleepers Disting 4 in B8 algorithm which is just an oscillator with sub (not using the wave shaping). It has some Valhalla Room reverb and some chorus on it as well.
On top of that I recorded the Jazz bass with the BOD plugin which emulates the Tech 21 Sansamp. I used to have one of those and I miss it dearly.

The pads are a combination of Arturia's Solina and Mellotron VSTs with some Valhalla Room reverb.
