The picture as in the video depicts an English longbowman during the battle of Agincourt. It is the stylized rendition of a poor, malnourished and crazed yeoman about to face off against a Calvary charge from the French whilst he is bogged down in the mud.
My interpretation is that the footsoldier in the drawing is supposed to be defending some kind of possibly supernatural kingdom from us (humans). Whether he is evil or morally gray I do not know, but I lean more towards the latter being true.
