@@yaboidustin2447 for a reason they are overrated they are/were timeless edit: they were timeless in the fact tuners like in those movies dont exist much however they are timeless since they were the fuel for tuner scenes
This movie not only introduced me to muscle cars, but also drifting, rally, JDM culture, and most likely the reason why I will lose my driver's license within a week of getting it.
Being honest I've watched this as a kid over and over and thought the plot wasnt good, but all the car related scenes were just awesome, the goofy parts still manage to make me laugh and the car stunts still fire, I guess this movie really shows you better not cut corners when it comes to writting LOL Btw that last scene with the charger and the mustang just reminds me of the chase from Bullit
@@NGKGMR lmao I never watched the original show. I'm just calling you a manchild Also if that's what you call a win then you're chronically online brother
This is really weird Im certain that the General's orange paint looked darker and more red in this movie back when I saw it. It looked like it was Hemi Orange but I don't know if was the paint itself or whether it was the film stock and/or grading of the film or the way it was shot that was causing it. I remember it standing out the most when they were in the city and being chased by the police. The General was obviously cleaned and detailed and looking its best for those city scenes because the car stood out so much in that environment, and so the Hemi Orange like color stood out big time. But now the General looks more like the lighter original TNT Express orange in all these scenes in the movie. I can remember the DVD cover and the movie posters all having the different color General Lee, it was a big deal for me as it was one of the main things about the movie that I didn't like.
The dude in the mustang was so embarrassed by that loss that he changed his name, moved to California and became a psychic crime consultant for the Santa Barbara Police Department.
Did you guys see that, that orange race car just knocked out 3 Po-lice cars, that reminds me of cars, where that Green #84 Chevy Monte Carlo SS tries to knock out lightning McQueen.
I don't know why this movie got so much hate. As someone whose favorite TV show was the Dukes of Hazzard as a little kid, I loved this movie. It's hell of a lot better than any of the "remakes" being made nowadays!
The car chases and stunts, and the General himself, were the only good things about this movie. If you come just for those and ignore the mischaracterized denizens of Hazzard County, you'll have a good time.
