Even though it's a replica, it's sooo foreign to me that a Daytona would be considered a "trash car" no matter what condition it's in.

As soon as this car turned, non-car people thought it was junk, any car guy died knowing it was prob a 50k car as-is. Then once I started into the history of this car it was wild. Movie car stories are all great to learn from the famous black 55 to this one. When I read an article from the original purchasers saying it went for 18k my dad and I both had a private moment to cry together. 18k couldn't even buy the front clip off a bird.

Joes Daytona was a really nice car made to look like a beater. Makes sense. Movie set time would be expensive!! Need reliable cars for filming. I looked it up. The purple showing through on the drivers side door was the cars color. It was a really nice looking car.

This can't be a replica, the rear window is flush with the quarter panels, meaning that it is either a real daytona, or a Charger 500. Both rare and high dollar cars.
