I was the bassist on this song. I had no idea it was in this movie. I got no money from this because our licensing and publishing was sold to other parties almost 20 years ago. Still cool to hear it though. We placed other songs in Under Siege 2, Life With Mikey, Money For Nothing, The Guiding Light, and a few more that have slipped my mind. (I recorded this in 1993.) -Barry Caldwell, original bassist, Medicine Wheel
@@ArgentinoPromedio2023 10 years later, you are welcome. I just had to play this clip over and over with headphones, and use every lyric search engine I could find.
After watching movie scenes from this movie for the last several months, I've realized that this movie isn't as bad as critics said it was. Sure it wasn't good 'ol Tom Wopat and John, but honestly they had to make the show adult funny adventually. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed the 70s Dukes, but I love this movie because it takes the classic and turns into a mature show that is enjoyable. Take my twenty bucks I'm fine with it, this movie is pretty good.
+Tab 13 I agree if they made movies like the dukes of hazard and the A Team just like the original shows they would be consider tv ma movies and would ha flopped at the box office
That is true, I watched the two The Dukes of Hazzard movies with the original cast and it seemed sadly. Dated. Most of the jumps weren't new and were reused and it seemed overall the cast needed to just move on and that should have happened in 1997 not 2000. Mainly because Denver Pyle had died and that ment the crew was running on whatever was left by 2000 which must have been strange to the world and the people making said movie.
+Tab 13 Denver Pyle was a great actor and producer of the original show. He made sure it was a wholesome family show back then and now. It's a shame that the liberal media influences networks to ban these shows from TV just because of a flag on the roof. People who say it's supports racism never have watched an episode of it. I think these people are prejudice and shouldn't be so quick to judge the show on a flag and not its content.
Well, that is a world today. You know I made up a theory that 9/11 killed patoritism. Kids nowadays raised around gaming, small computers and video game consoles, while back 30 years ago there was concerts, muscle cars, football games, hot women, style, etc. Nowadays no one can think of America as real patroitism instead of this phony patoritism crap. Al-queda did their duty and turned Americans into pussies, damn terriorists :(
yeah all of this political correctness is playing right into the terrorist hands. there be one more step closer to taking over this country if Clinton is elected.
You know? If they put the name of this song and artist in the end credits when this movie first came out in 2005, we would have been able to figure this song out 7 years earlier.

Thought I'd repost this for the people who missed it the first time. The song is called "Hit and Run" on the album "First Things First" by the band Medicine Wheel.
@@CaptainSpalding72 Dude, that comment I wrote was from 7 years ago. You really want to be an asshole about it now? Sure I could have looked it up but I was trying to talk to other people in the comment section.
corvettels9 exactly!!! This could have replaced a dozen scenes that I could have cared less for... Sean William Scott owned this scene and drove that Charger like he stole it 🤣
i've been looking for this song FOREVER. i've checked multiple websites with no luck. does anyone have that app on their phone where you can identify a song by holding the phone up to it as its playing? thats the only thing i can think of.
