In the very beginning of the arrest she said “it was my day” “I was getting my make up em ready to go out” right after the accident.. she only cared about how her night would go and never cared about the others
@ItzSyakirin Everyone says "narcissism" like she didn't just blow a 0.3% BAL during the arrest. Mrs Booze Brain might _literally not remember doing it._
My grandma was fatally struck by an intoxicated driver last year and all that guy cared about was his car getting wrecked. He's never expressed remorse for what he did, all he's done is complain about his car and his own relatively minor injuries.
I think In some states you would have wait 5 years or so to be hired as a nurse after doing your time. But In some cases your disqualified to become a nurse
UK has recently had a serial killer nurse who had the intent to kill 7 newborns, she's been all over our news as a notorious baby murderer. Yeah people are just monsters by heart.
I feel an inhuman amount of disgust when it comes to drunk drivers. My closest cousin and her best friend were killed 6 years ago due to a drunk driver. RIP Liz 🙏
Narcissism is genuinely terrifying. My stepdad was a narcissist and the stuff he did and thought was ok was horrid and absurd. Obviously it’s mental illness and it can be a little more complicated than just think different or whatever but it’s just awful
@@feebler8819 Yes, but it's not a mental illness that you're born with or that needs to be medicated or that you can't fix; it's a personality disorder. Narcissists definitely don't get a pass like other more serious and uncontrollable conditions (ex. bipolar disorder). Basically, if your narcissism leads to you harming others, you should get the book thrown at you.
I respect this officer immensely. I feel like he understood how fucking awful she was and never once flipped out because, if he did, she would have the sympathy as a victim and her punishment would likely be reduced as a result. He treaded carefully to make sure she paid the full fucking price.

I served as a juror on an intoxication manslaughter trial in 2007. Not only was the medical examiner’s testimony sobering, the scene photographs were horrific. Every juror was shook. Hearing that someone was killed by a drunk driver is one thing. To hear the grizzly details & see the actual havoc wrought is much more impactful. I firmly believe that every new driver course, defensive driving course, AA meeting, & all DUI probation programs should require a review of such report details & photos.
They do it's called mothers against drunk driving panel-it is a required course if you don't want to serve jail time it's actually a choice it's actually a choice of the panel or serving time in jail
@@cindi8318 doesn't that only occur after a drunk driving offense? I meant it should happen during every driving course of any type for any driver. It was incredibly impactful.
I had something similar when I got my VCA (basically a certificate that allows me to work in a hazardous enviroment like construction sites in the Netherlands), we had to watch workplace accident videos to really drive home the point of "this could be you". Like a guy walking infront of a forktruck and between a trailer, then getting hit by the forktruck and pulled into the trailer with the pallet and subsequently squashed by the pallet. Cause forktrucks have terrible forward vision when carrying a pallet, which is why they normally drive backwards except that final stretch into the trailer and thus why you never walk infront of a forktruck. Also a guy who was working on a electrical installation and put a tag on the breaker so while he's working he won't get electrocuted, only for some utter twat to walk in, ignore the tag and flip the breaker probably killing his coworker. Really still makes me think twice about my actions on the work floor to this day.
@@jerritanner275 I can only attest to my situation; our local coroner ran the school’s driving classes so we could get a permit to park on campus. I can 100% confirm she made us learn about those details. I ended up telling my parents about it and got the best response I think any parent could give. “You are old enough to drive, you’re mature enough to know what your behavior could cause.” At the time that response hurt, but five years later I appreciate the brutality of it, even though it was so out of character for them.
One of the most sickening parts of this story is when she was pulled over, one of the victim’s _DISMEMBERED LEGS_ was wedged in the car’s grill…and she had NO reaction to it. That’s one of the most gruesome things I’ve ever heard happen in a drunk-driving accident… *Edit: To the very few people commenting who’re defending her actions, stop…just fucking _STOP._ I cannot believe some of y’all are actually siding with this killer. I know it’s a sick way to get a shock factor from us, but it literally makes you just as vile and ice-cold as her. Though she was clearly under the influence of _something,_ it doesn’t excuse what she’s done in any single way. She killed 2 innocent people & showed absolutely _NO_ remorse for it. We can only hope she doesn’t do it again when she gets out. Also I found out about the severed leg from Fox News for those who were wondering. Please guys, I’m begging you, don’t drive if you’ve drank or taken any substances. That temporary euphoric high isn’t more important than taking someone else’s life. Get an Uber or taxi-it’s that simple. **2nd Edit: Melgoza was sentenced to a total of 14 years in prison, but under Illinois law, she’s only required to serve about 85% of that sentence; combined w/ credit for time served, she’ll probably get out within the next 11.5 years. I think that’s pretty despicable given that I still don’t believe she’s shown genuine remorse nor really accepted full responsibility for her actions that night. During her sentencing, she reportedly “expressed great remorse” for her actions, but I think she’s more upset at the idea of going to prison than for hitting those two people. I hope she doesn’t get out anytime soon…
@@BillyWitchDoctorDotCom She didn’t blackout. She got behind the driver’s wheel of a car while being intoxicated. Her decisions caused these actions, nothing else.
I know of common anti depresants that cause this. Not saying this is what happened, but I remember someone telling me once that after taking their meds if someone died at their feet they wouldn't have a flicker of emotion, and this person is one of the most caring people I know. Anti-depressants basically turn you into a zombie where you don't care. So although we can judge this woman, let us not forget that many millions of people are made this way by their medication and we don't care about that.
14 years. That means each life was only worth 7 years. That’s all the judge could come up with?? If the judge had a set of balls: she would have gotten life.
Female privilege. Justice system is NOTORIOUSLY light on women. Women basically never get life sentences even for murder. They would have to be like a serial killer
what pisses me off the most is most of the time, the drunk driver has minor injuries, while the family they hit is dead. then they suffer minor repercussions, if any, for the crime they committed absolutely despicable
ive seen people on twitter excusing her behaviour saying her dedication to school was so great that she shouldn't get a sentence because 'we need people that work hard'. I don't know who's dumber.
Just to remind everyone: the guy who jail broke nintendo switches is basically getting life in prison while someone who took 2 human lives and literally only cares about HER ability to go to school, is getting a reduced penalty of 14 years.
Corporate interests should not weigh more than public interest. This being the case, we need to demand reform. We have become way too complacent with rampant corporatism usurping our entire society. This needs to stop. I remember when capitalism was a form of consumerism in which the rights of the consumer weighed more than the rights of the producer. Slowly over the past 10-20 years this has eroded because of a lack of consumer litigation. Most millenials hate the court system and have no idea how to file litigation. Boomers used to sue companies over everything. Remember when America would sue mcdonalds over some coffee that was too hot? Ironically enough, that's the sort of thing that kept our economy in check. Nowadays it's in shambles because we have no backbone.

Am I crazy though or is she not just drunk? Like, the reason she’s laughing in the hospital is that she just doesn’t process what’s going on around her since her BAC is like barely keeping her conscious. I’m not sure if she would react that way if she understood that she had killed someone and was sober. This whole video just seems silly to me. We’re not looking at some psychopath who doesn’t care that they killed 2 people. We’re looking at what a normal person is capable of understanding when they’re hammered. When she wakes up later, then she’ll have to be re-informed of her situation and she’ll understand.

This was the judges chance to make an example, to prove their that vehicular homicide isn’t a joke. This woman should have got reckless driving, a DUI, and second degree murder. The fact she actively doesn’t care she killed two people shows she was willing to take a human life that night. She decided to drink and drive full knowing she was probably gonna kill someone. She shouldn’t be getting out. This isn’t a case of making a dumb mistake. This woman is malicious and it’s a joke that she got to graduate. At least no hospital can hire her because she has a criminal record.

The fact that she only got 14 years, and so many people have gotten way worse sentencing for doing far less than negligently murdering 2 people, shows how unapologetically broken our legal system is
Henry Ruggs got 10 years and he only killed one person and was sobbing at the scene. Not to mention he was a millionaire athlete who mattered so much to a lot of people

As a psychologist, I saw this video last week (prior to Charlie’s perspective). When I watched it in its entirety, I was horrified by how she initially tried to blame the victims and then claimed that she only hit one person (I believe these were pedestrians). The victims were struck so hard that some of their limbs were nearly completely disarticulated (i.e., torn off). She also thought she should get some type of credit for calling 911 herself. In the video, she displays narcissistic behavior to such an extreme that her behaviors are consistent with sociopathy. Being intoxicated generally enhances the mood state experienced while also being a CNS depressant. So, if someone gravely hurts another person while intoxicated, it should made a “normal” person with a conscience and empathy feel even more upset and inconsolable, particularly since she saw the bodies. Normal people would be so upset if they just killed two people; they would likely be throwing up and weeping uncontrollably. In the hospital, it was as if she pretends he didn’t just say she killed two people. She appeared mildly upset after the police officer stated his utter disgust in her behavior when she kept pressing him about her missing classes (btw the officer exhibited extraordinary restrain when he did speak, particularly after witnessing her singing, dancing, and laughing). Her upset was more incredulousness that the officer would say what he did. At that point, she asked if he was “allowed” to say what he did. She is lucky that was all that was said. I agree with Charlie; since she didn’t actually know the people she killed, she was unfazed. The video is a chilling example of sociopathy.
I honestly expected him to get up and just punch her in the face when she ignored him talking about the two deceased individuals. I know I couldn't have had that kind of restraint in that moment.
I don't understand these "only 14 years" comments. Just remember what you did 14 years ago and then try to imagine being in jail from back then until today. And don't get me wrong: I wouldn't complain if she got more than 14 years, but it's a pretty heavy punishment.

There is no excuse for DUI. My dad always told me I could call him at any time of the day or night for a ride, no questions asked and that’s what I told both my children. Now, I realize not everybody has family like this but like you pointed out there a numerous ways to get a ride, or you can walk or just stay where you are until you are sober. Plus, Jesus, just plan ahead! If you want to get wasted do it at home or arrange for a ride ahead of time. Driving while intoxicated is just arrogant and selfish. No excuse.
Cars are actually built in a way that protects most drivers who collide head on. Most cars have little to no protection from the sides. Though these victims were pedestrians so they stood even less of a chance against her car :(
A lot of times, drunk drivers are able to escape with minimal injuries because their bodies don't really get tense during a crash and are able to avoid panicking. My dad has been in a few wrecks (sometimes under the influence of drugs and sometimes alcohol) and he's gotten away relatively unscathed, only need hospital care for a couple hours.
@@GmmBeast actually the tensing part is true, the muscles don’t tense so they absorb the impact instead of being ripped/torn and the bones don’t need to take the shock, the panicking saves lives as well by overreacting and saving the victim, instead of both of them being hurt/killed
My dad and his gf were killed by a drunk driver when I was 18. I just turned 30 and I can tell you right now, it's something that is absolutely unforgiveable. and yet they are hardly punished. The woman who killed my family was only sentenced to 9 years for both (combined) and got out EARLY due to good behaviour. This woman probably got more just because of the public eye factor but usually, drunk drivers are not held accountable like they should be. This world needs to change.
she needs a psych evaluation. i saw in the comments that she was allowed to graduate from her nursing program, but cause of her criminal record i doubt she will ever get hired as a nurse thank god, but knowing she passed nursing school means she isn't intellectually disabled and completely understands what she did and the impact of it. she has something seriously wrong with her

Such an insult to allow her to have a reduced sentence. She is a menace . And her family should be ashamed. As should the court. The officer's disgust with her says it all. I have seen many variations of her arrest, longer videos, but you verbalized my feelings so succinctly. Hope whatever occurs in jail precluded her ever getting out.
1. She intentionally did it. If it happens it's intentional. She intentionally murdered two people, she just happened to be on something. 2. Her family is just as much at fault. She is part of the family. They are responsible through association. The bad is always the responsibility of the group. Only good is of the individual. Everyone she is related to are just as much muderers as her.

I'm terrified. I'm genuinely terrified. That people like this exist. I've been dealing with alcoholism for years and not ONCE have I driven under the influence and NEVER has it crossed my mind.
My wife and daughter wish to obtain their driver’s licenses. I don’t worry for them because of their ability to drive, I worry because of people like her are on the roads. Driving under the influence is inexcusable. I have seen first hand what it does to a family. My father’s elder brother who never drank, was a good and decent man who was involved in many charities, was driving with his family to Melbourne Australia from Canberra in our nation’s capital. They were going on holiday and in the car was my uncle, his wife, and my two cousins aged 5 and 2. A drunk driver crossed over to the wrong side of the road and hit them head on. My uncle was killed instantly, my aunt was in a coma which lasted 3 months, and my 2 year old cousin was brain damaged and put on life support. My 5 year old cousin was unscathed, physically, but endured a lifetime of mental trauma all stemming from that accident. She’s been in and out of institutions for most of her adult life. My father had to make the agonising decision to turn off life support, an act which my Nana never forgave him for but which was the best decision given her prognosis. She was brain dead and machines were keeping her alive. My father struggled with alcoholism and my family bore the brunt of his inability to cope. All because some dickhead couldn’t be bothered to get a taxi home. I have no sympathy for those who drive under the influence.
My boyfriend's dad drove drunk all the time years ago (before I knew them). He actually went to jail for a year or so for it. Thankfully he never crashed or hurt someone, but the police found him pulled over a bunch of times sleeping it off I guess, with a high blood alcohol level. Since he went to prison he hasn't driven drunk as far as I know, but he's still an alcoholic. I don't know how my bf turned out so well honestly; he has never drunk any alcohol because he witnessed all the problems drinking caused his parents. On top of it all, she got to walk in her Graduation. Her family definitely paid off the facility, as well as the bond. Yes because You only get to feel shock and disassociation if you’re the victim. And because she didn’t act the way we all wanted we should trump the manslaughter charges up to murder and throw her in jail for life. Truly based.
As a retired cop w/lots of DWI arrests under my belt I have to agree that people who drive drunk are soulless beings. This woman takes it to a whole new level and life in prison is too kind for her.
Soulless beings? Isn't that just a little bit over the line? What about everyone in the entire alcohol supply chain that led to her getting drunk and the people who witnessed her getting into her car and driving off in her condition? I suppose they're entirely blameless. What I'm saying is that it's cultural illness and you can't demonize one person. Thousands of people do the same thing every 24 hours of every day, the problem isn't "soulless beings."
She was cold and completely uncaring, I truly think she deserved the full 28 years because she took away two entire lives. There is no redeeming that and there is no redeeming her attitude but 14 years feels lenient.
Soooo.... how many years should someone get who actively murdered 2 people? Sadly i've noticed in the past, usually literal murderers got less than 14 years in prison. So what exactly is the standard here?
I’m not surprised that she’s getting off so light since the justice system in East Peoria is probably so desensitized to murders since it’s East Peoria. That’s why I never drive in Peoria unless I have to
people get caught up comparing to the maximum or to other crimes. 14 years is still a long-ass time. who are we to say whether that's enough. idk. nothing will seem enough when you've had your loved ones taken away from you for someone's recklessness.
My dad is an alcoholic. Once while driving drunk he hit someone. The guy survived. Witnesses said he jumped in front of my dad's car and he admitted to it as well. As a kid I didn't understand what was going on. I still remember him not sleeping until he found out the guy was going to survive. Because of the witnesses and victim confession he was never charged but he continued to drive drunk. I had a last straw moment and walked away. I couldn't support it anymore.
I agree totally. Not only that, alcohol affects everyone differently, so it should be a blanket ban, a zero alcohol limit. I mean, driving under the influence of marijuana is not measured by parts per billion, that is a zero tolerance drug. If alcohol was treated as a drug, which it is, and you were not allowed any alcohol in your system for the right to drive, there would be a great deal less fatalities and injuries due to the leniency shown to alcohol. This evil creature has obviously led a sheltered, spoiled life, and has never needed to develop a conscience. Mummy and Daddy need to take some responsibility for this things approach to life.
Your channel is one of the ones I turn to when I'm craving a drink. Calling somebody by a mental illness as an insult results in the following; 1) it creates stigma and bias around the illness 2) people diagnosed with such illness are ostracized and damaged and traumatized 3) research, therapy, and getting help and assistance is considered more taboo as the disorder seems like something to be ashamed of 4) this cascade of a cycle can make it even harder for an individual with issues to maintain a healthy lifestyle; remember, you can be mentally ill and be in good health if you learn to live with it, which they do not Another thing to add, VERY FEW psychopaths actually end up harming people ANOTHER, she is showing signs of apathy, not delusion, so you can't even call her a psychopath TLDR; don't use mental disorders as insults or personality traits you're doing more harm than people who are actually suffering from those conditions.

This happened around 6 miles from our home. Incredibly enough about 8 years ago a friend of my brother’s killed two people in a DUI around one mile from our home. He got 8 years. The couple he killed were on a motorcycle and were intoxicated with coke in their systems. I believe that is the resin he got such a light sentence. Sad
For 20 years I've been saying that anyone caught DUI should be banned from driving for life. No second chances, no three strikes you're out... no more driving - ever.
I always appreciate when you cover these topics. I was a victims of a drunk driver and thankfully I’m still here but it changed my entire life. No excuse, ever.
I really hope you just commented on this video and didnt read the replies on some of these comments. People be wildin and ridin the hell out this woman as if she did nothing wrong??? Its really not that deep: dont drive while drunk Also hope youre doing better these days!
Sincerely hope your days get easier. Not a victim of that myself but have chronic illnesses and have to go to the doctors monthly where I've met unfortunately too many people who were victims that suffer incredible amounts of pain or lack of movement from spinal injuries. It's sad. To me I was at least somebody who was genetically sick and unhealthy. People like them, plausibly you as well.... we're healthy people doing their things. Just minding their own, following the rules and some jerk went and destroyed that from them. Tore their entire livelihood up. I remember saying at least one thing in many of my conversations with them. "It's always the people doing wrong that fuck it up for the people doing right. And yet we're the ones who feel most of the affects in the end of it all."
I agree with that but you gotta remember this still a real person. I know niggas who used to be addicted to xanax and drive off bars all the time. they wrecked their cars crashed into people and they aint get no where near as much hate as this girl did and we dont even know if shes an addict. She could've just been a casual user who got wasted out their mind did some dumb shit and didnt know how to respond to the situation while also being super fucked up.Thats she reacted with so little remorse she was tryna stay calm and convinced herself the person was still alive. yall gotta keep in mind she blew 4 times the legal limit. She chick was not in her right mind at all yall cant judge her actual character off this one situation
I went to school with this girl. She’s pregnant now and is going to prison for 14 years. She’s not even the only girl from Farmington who carelessly murdered people. There was another girl in my class that hit someone while texting and driving, and would laugh about her trial in class. She would joke about her friends going to college and then having to visit her through bullet proof glass. Our town breeds psycho women 😣
Wait until he hears how many crashes with injuries & deaths to innocent drivers happen every year that are caused by people who are overly tired yet not drunk (or on other substances).
Watching the body cam from the beginning you see she was able to lie and claim she was not drunk. This shows a level of awareness that makes her callousness toward the people she killed more chilling.
@@tormclean9657iven that a concentration of 0.30% in your body will likely induce you to a coma, if she was at 0.25% she probably had her reasoning severely impaired and on the verge of passing out. Not exonerate her, if one is planning to drink, always have a plan to get back home without driving.
@@tormclean9657 she could have some crazy level of tolerance to alcohol though. I was in the car when one of my (former) friends got a DUI and I didn’t even know he’d been drinking - he blew a .23 and went to jail, and I got a sweet ride home, free from handcuffs, by one of the most generous cops I ever met. Best taxi ride ever
That really doesn't prove anything, it's pretty common from what I've seen for really drunk people to be insistant that they aren't drunk. At a certain blood alcohol level near all rational thought goes out the door.
I don’t understand how the punishment is so light. Drunk driving is a crime killing people is a crime and yet drunk driving while killing someone is seen as less of a crime.
I think I read at sentencing she also said she needs to live for the 3 of them now so she needs to live life to the fullest. Which is an absolute insane take for her to still have, sober, in front of a judge, showing 0 remorse. It just shows how f’d in the head she is and gives 0 f’s about anyone. Such a disgusting human.
@@maolisa08 like she needs to live life in a fulfilling way not just for herself, but for the two people she killed because they can't live their lives since she took them away. She thinks she needs to go super hard since these people died, despite it being her fault that they're dead.
No she thinks she is hot and is the next big thing. For onlyfans and people on the internet. Cross examine her attitude to these onlyfans girls you see on like fresh and fit and other podcast and it’s the same thing. This girl has main character syndrome and doesn’t understand life.
Y'all remember when we were still surprised by some of the news stories? We knew there was some messed up stuff but every once in a while something would scroll across the news reel or popped up on a headline that made us question if it was real. This brings me back, i thought i had seen the extents of human stupidity but holy hell i think this lady actually only has 2 brain cells, one for talking and one for keeping track of what time she needs to go to school. Definitely didn't have one for driving.
My best friend was killed by a 19yr old drunk driver. He was 28, had daughter. He was a tow truck driver helping someone on side of the freeway & she drifted off into the side lane & clipped him. If someone you know is trying to leave a party and drive drunk, take their keys away and pay to get them an Uber home. What id pay to get him back.
They should also be someone you used to know. The keys also need throwing into the nearest body of water and calling the locksmith the next day can be a lesson.
she went to my college, and let me just say she is WIDELY hated. there is not a single person that has forgiven her for what she’s done or forgiven the school for allowing her back after
@@Captain_Willard yep that’s pretty much what happened. they even let her walk at graduation. they just released this video of her arrest even though it happened quite a while ago, but she’s gone now and in jail as far as i know
@@idkwtd97Seriously? I thought they were originally going to let her walk, but then other students at the school protested and they ended up not letting her walk. I could be wrong though.
@@ClaraaR this video wasn’t released until pretty recently, and this happened over a year ago. tbh im not sure if people knew the awful details of her laughing about it until the vid was posted
I'm not really sure that she just doesn't care. If something extremely traumatic happens you're brain can protect you by blocking the event. She might not be aware about what happened, add alcohol in the mix and you get this kind of behavior. When she sobers up, and her brain will release the trauma, she might be really horrified about what she did.
My father was killed by an unapologetic dui driver. I always appreciate you speaking out against this huge problem and life ruining behavior. It feels like it’s downplayed and glazed over so much especially as a victim.
I literally got drunk, accidentally slapped my friend and sobbed uncontrollably about it. This woman should've gotten wayyyyyy more than 14 years, she isn't remorseful. She's just upset she's in jail now.
It’s not the booze, she was probably just in shock. Her family says she is remorseful now and I believe them. This doesn’t excuse what she did, but she isn’t a psychopath at least.
@@Ok-lm4is She is also clearly wasted off her ass at the time. If I had to guess, she is simply incapable of comprehending what she has done during the video. I can totally believe that she would be remorseful and distraught when she sobered up. Not that that excuses her. Drunk driving should be a capital crime.
I was in college with this person when this happened. We were in the same graduating class. It happened just a couple weeks before graduation and the university almost let her walk in the ceremony, until this video was released and students across campus started protesting saying she shouldn't be allowed to graduate. It was a wild situation. Crazy how it went viral like this a year later
She was DEFINITELY trying to go to nursing school. it is so incredibly common for horrible, remorseless female bullies who dont care about others to become nurses so that they have people to be mean to and abuse, and thats ABSOLUTELY what she was trying to do. thank god this will prevent her from ever doing that
I like how she was worried about being about able to go to school when she is drunk af, knowing her dumbass she would skip class for that day even if she didnt kill people
I was friends with a kid back when I was 15. He was 16. He was being DD for this prom party everyone went to. He was one of the nicest souls you could ever meet. He was the only sober person from both cars and was the only one to die due to a drunk driving accident. The guy who killed him didn’t even get any jail time because of his last name. A few years later my cousin married the guy who killed my friend. so now I have to see my friends killer at every family function. Christmas, thanksgiving, family reunions, ect.. it really fucking sucks. It was 15 almost 16 years ago now and I still cringe and can’t stand to look at him..I have never said more than one word to this guy. does anyone think this will ever go away? Like, do you think I’ll get over it one day? Any advice to do so would be awesome.
@@elizabethberry4042 I don’t think I could. Just because, it’s not like he’s a shitty person or anything. He just made a really bad decision. I’m sure he feels the weight of it as well as I do.
@@FrogFriend3379 I’ve thought about it but it’s hard to avoid that side just because he’s present. I mean, there have been a few times when I didn’t show or whatever but idk. It’s just a really shitty situation I guess.
Honestly, I don’t think I’d mentally or emotionally handle myself well in a situation where I have to explain to someone how stupid they really are when they make a decision I only see a literal sloth making, my brutal honesty would be through the stratosphere
I sent this to you on Twitter last week. You forgot one of the best parts, where she tells the cops that she was doing at least 40-45 and then they "came out of nowhere" and "hit her car". Not that she hit them but that they hit her car. The two victims were literally on foot walking, not driving. Also another gem was the press conference where her lawyer tried to explain to the media outlets that the girl never planned to hurt anyone when she chose to drive drunk, so therefore it was accidental. Worth a watch just to see the way the man tries to spin it.
From what I know, even according to the U.S constitution someone must have a lawyer represent them in court, unless they chuse not to have one. So I'm guessing most lawyers, being payed, try to come up with some solution to win so they can make the most profit. I don't have a lot of knowledge on law so I'd like to know a lil more if you do.
Those "monsters" won't be sent to jail or what? 'Cuz I'm pretty sure they would be. Unless you mean you want them to go jail AND also be "exposed" by being talked about online. Which means you love the drama, and don't give a fuck about how horrible what they did is, and are just as selfish as them - wanting to see a spectacle. The worst part is, in your narcissistic brain this type of thing is "justice".
"About 1.2% of U.S. adult men and 0.3% to 0.7% of U.S. adult women are considered to have clinically significant levels of psychopathic traits." So yes there's literally MILLIONS more.
yes but we literally have a word for this: it's called the "bystander affect". People are getting shot and killed and raped and murdered in America every day. You think those people concern me? You think I know their families and know who they are? Human beings are literal shit stains. Why would someone who accidentally killed two people care? She doesn't know them, they didn't know her, they weren't mentors to her or had ANY affect on her life. This strange belief that if you involuntarily cause harm to someone else that you should just fall into tears and depression and become suicidal is stupid. Nobody gives a fuck about other people. If I watched someone get shot 28 times right in front of me, I'm not crying for that shit. Sorry for your family but I don't know who the fuck you are or what you did or why you ended up shot and killed. I don't give a fuck if your mom gave you oatmeal raisin cookies every sunday after you came home from school. We as human beings DO NOT CARE about other people's lives.
