I was gonna put up the same message but ya beat me too it ...Good Lookin out ! He misses so much stuff and most of the time he grabs the garbage for his Glamarous Garage Sale that i am dieing to see .
25:59 That one actually still has it's "Harddrive" its an SSD and it is directly on the mainboard. You can see it as the little blue thing under the CPU cooler. So it is actually still fairly modern
The scrap run is good, as we get to see you make the fruits of your labor. It is really the musical interlude you put in the middle that is the real fun!
Mike that fiber optic cable is great to have. I have a splicing kit for them. I used them in Amateur Radio. I can put the main unit in the next room and use the fiber optic cable some 40' away. Many of my stereo equipment uses fiber optic cable. The fiber optic cable is worth money. Don't overlook it. You would be surprised how much it is worth.
There is a couple comments below referencing the 18 to 20 volt adapters it's definitely the way to go when you have several. All of our cordless tools are DeWalt 18 and 20 volt so when the 18 volt batteries started dying a couple years ago, my hubby simplified and brought the adapters, converting the older 18volt to 20. No more making sure we have both types of battery chargers with both batteries when we are on the go, with our tools.
U can resell the fiber optic cable….I found smaller packages like that and sold them for $15 each…I had 65 packages..they retail for $75 each so someone bought them all up
I have said that before Fiber Optic cable goes for $$$. I use that in my stereo equipment and my Amateur Radio. My friends and I have a laser transmitter and use it for line of sight transceivers. We use the fiber optic cable to modulate the head.
When I was a little kid, the local dump put in a recycling area for household glass and metal - before there were recycling trucks. My mom used to take us up there with a load of bottles every so often. We called it "going crashing" from the sound the bottles made when we kids threw them in one by one. Reminds me of that scrapper truck at the end of your videos.
Since watching your channel Mike I find myself looking at dumpsters I can’t get in them like you but I often wonder 💭 is there wires, or scrap in there? Funny 😄 how one’s adventures can cause others to imagine. Thanks Mike! I truly enjoy your videos. 🥰❤️ Oh and be careful around those types of lights when they pop there’s a gas of some type which is harmful to people.
That first computer that you said was missing the hard drive is actually is a newer model. It has a tiny little blue board about 1 inch in size right below the fan, which is the new faster hard drive, called an m.2 SSD.
Mike I just enjoy watching you do anything. I haven’t scrapped in a while. Fell broke my kneecap 2 weeks ago! I’m in Helena, Montana! Been a fan since day 1, your the best scrapper out there! You teach me stuff and make me laugh…take care
Not sure about anyone else, but I don't care what you make at the scrap yard........it's all about the AIR GUITAR for me🤣😂🤣 and seeing just how full you get Dottie.
split wires are fiber optic. believe the red plastic things are drink holder, put them in the top they come out the bottom. great for refrigerators. New sport dumpster magnetic fishing. Love the Dewalt. they still make the 18v batteries and they have an adapter to go from 20 v to the 18 v
Mike, you are right. The Dewalt impact driver is the one that has value. BUT, check around for battery adapters that might allow you to use your good batteries to test the tools.
Since you take us along with you and talk to us constantly, people will think you're talking to yourself and think you're crazy and be more likely to just leave you alone 😀👍 We all think you're crazy too but in a good way. 😎 I love what you do and the way you do it.
Hello Mike, I've been watching your show for a while now! And I text my cell saying some things you say.. lol! Your show is one of the best .. I love watching you! I'm so sorry about that text I sent you.. it was supposed to say I catch myself saying things you say..lol
What's up Mike? Been enjoying your videos for a while now thought I would comment and say what's up. You are a hard working dude man. Good work ethic is hard come by these days. Well done
Diving into the Juice - ha ! Lots of Wires again - just Great ! And who throws a whole bag of Power Tools out - crazy ! Not a bad Evening for You - got some Computer Stuff as well ! Cheers from us in Australia !!!!
I was walking the dog yesterday and by one of the electrical boxes there was wire laying around freaked her out as she stepped on one and it wrapped around her paw. So I cleaned it up think number one wire One strand of copper in it! I went back today and got the snippets! Add it to my scrapper box for one of the scrapper trucks that comes around!
TPDL USB Battery Adapter DCA1820 Compatible with DeWalt 18V to 20V Converter for Dewalt 18V NiCad & NiMh Tools Replacement. $25.00 on Amazon Canadian so not sure what it would be in US.
Hey Mike, on your next run to the scrape yard. Explain how you sort things out and why you do it. You now can be the Picker Teacher. Class 101 can be the next run. Be careful and safe.
You can sell those ball hitches at the yard sale. $ You work so hard, I know you're tired after all that. Love going with you on your scavenging adventures. Stay safe and GOD bless!
Mike great vid ,i knew a bloke once who use to fill washing machines tumblers and anything else with water before going into a scrap yard more weight you see he did well out of it but got caught and banned from all the scrap yards in the area
At 12 mins in…those aluminum strips…they’re for tile edging and are expensive…u could probably get $20 or more each The dewalt s…u can get new batteries for inside the batteries…they take 15 sub C size batteries …not too hard to pop those open and replace the interior sub C batteries…they’re on eBay for about $20 for a package of 15….considering those dewalt batteries run about $90 each
Sweet finds! always i'm jealous when you find old computers in the garbage. Those trees tho @ 18:00 if they are in good shape and depending how well they're made can be worth decent money :) OWWW!
I want to see what kind of jack you're getting for your hard work. Plus, it lets us know how the market prices are treating you. When you come across a pile of somethin somethin, like those little motors, we all want to know how that turned out.
