Dentist class: Has the ability to clean and drill calcium. Can offer services to NPC's who will then pay you, and deals extra damage to skeleton enemies.

Just forget the genocidal wizard and start a dental business, nobody is a dentist so you have a major money lead, and at the end of your adventure, just buy out the wizard's power. Simple.

My parents were dependent on me for a looong time, never acting as actual parents, and I finally recently moved out, finally having my own life, finally understanding that I owe them nothing more than I've already given them, that my life does not belong to them. One of my favorite 5e builds was playing Rogue: Thief because I wanted to play a doctor and loved loved idea of being able to use a medkit on someone in one turn. My reason for why he could do backstab damage was cause he understood anatomy. Even only did non-lethal damage and stabilized any enemy that didn't die outright.
*autism activates* Did the DM nerf healing? I agree it's a really cool idea, but I don't get why a doctor wouldn't be a medicine spec healbot cleric or druid when healing magic is already so superior to anything we have in real life.

I thought all the comments being empty was a bug, because when i pressed newest comments, they all appeared... :/ Btw you agree with my dilemma about lack of magic variety and practicality in souls games, except for DS2, that was the only game that got it right, despite it's level and boss design being inconsistent, not bad, but sometimes it was lackluster. You could make a case for a dentist channeling lightning magic into tools to make them more powerful since a dentist came up with the idea for the electric chair
every warrior needs to think about when they want to retire or are unable to continue being the warrior they want to be, to have a back up plan.... he can still be a normal player class, he just has training and an affinity for dentistry..... great backstory stuff, his primary weapon could be giant pair of pliers to pull teeth with when he isn't bashing skulls with them.
You could be a barber-surgeon like Jooge Nopsmoth (an NPC from the _Barber of Silverymoon_ storyline). They often do dentistry as well as haircuts and surgery.
Doobus, I just wanna say that this was the first video of yours you ever did that I saw, and it unironically resonates with me due to the weird give-and-take of tabletop role-playing needing a firm setting and guiding the players, but also giving them freedom to be what they want. You recently hit 1 million subscribers and that's great, but I just wanted to come back here because, for me, this was where it all started.
Player: I want to play a Dentist Dm: Sorry I don’t think that’s- Player: Fixzlbax Diverwyrm, Fairy Mercy Monk. Using his Hands Of Healing feature to fix other people’s teeth, and his Hands Of Harm don’t break teeth but instead give them cavities. When he’s out of Ki he uses the Healer feat and a Medicine Kit. Character Flaw: Goes into an existential crisis when he tries to attack something without teeth, instead becoming Stunned until the start of his next turn.
It's not really a free choice most of the time. The dm will have to do more work to accommodate your weird character so not all of them make the grade. Like, great you wanna be a dentist, the dm now needs to plan out dental problems and how much its worth to people to fix, possible complications should they fail etc. You could just gloss over that and give random sums and nondescript problems but then what was the point in allowing it on the first place
I enjoy how he covers his eyes when the female cleric image of showcase its above him. It's of good respect! And maybe he had no idea to what to choose or think because of what happened and saw! That could be another explanation
