The Samoan's are pretty big people, even their children! I remember working at a Daycare and there was a Polynesian family that recently moved straight from Hawaii to Maine and they dropped off their son and let me tell you, that little boy was HUGE! and only 3 years old. He was not at all overweight just really big boned and a bit bigger than the rest of the children. He was super cute though ^_^ i miss him and the rest of the kiddos.
I really like the dancing. Regardless of fame, Dwayne remembers his tradition. However, I disliked the background music from the studio. Rude and/distracting.
That raw passion for our culture that every Islander is born with. I love watching these. Malo Seiuli and a tip of the hat to your esteemed African American roots. This boy's a Savage and we couldn't be more proud. ✊✊
Regardless of being half Afro-American and Polynesian blood, it's soooooooooooo damn heart warming seeing "STARS" as Dwayne the Rock Johnson taking pride in his Cultural roots, having the time to promote his SAMOAN Culture to the World. I'm sure that all those women heart rate jumped up 10 bpm and now booking holiday tickets to Polynesia after seeing the Rock and the 2 Polynesian Warrior dancers!!!!!! Ha ha ha..... Well done uso..."CHEEEEEOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO"
@MUFC wow, down here in the southern hemisphere dude, we like SMASHING and Bowling people over hence why we play no HOLLYWOOD despite football players getting paid Millions....RUGBY N RUGBY LEAGUE is our game. Football is good but not to our Liking.😁👍
He's actually Black and Samoan, He holds dual citizenship in american and in Canada because he payed for the stampeder's in the nfl and he was born here in hayward

kenway leviathian He is half. His father is black. And even black people be claiming him. My husband swears he is related to the rock. I'm like sure you are.
p.o.p holdin His genes would explain why he is so called "pasty". bi people and people mix with black can be light, tan or dark. It all depends on what their genes want to do. But his dad is black.
I am part Asian/Pacific Islander myself, this dance connects us to our most distant ancestral seafaring heritage..My student is Tongan she is an amazing dancer (10 yrs old).....Thank you Dawyne Johnson, my soul honour your soul, honour God our Maker, honour the Lord of Heavens for his timely rain and the fruitful seasons. Our Heavenly Father “makes his sun rise on both the wicked and the good and makes it rain on both the righteous and the unrighteous.” (Matt. 5:43-45) Mahalo my brother and may your family be safe during the difficult times we are in right now.
@@AreLL but he understands Samoan language and can speak a few Samoan words coz he was born outside Samoa..he's proud to be Samoan learning his culture..I don't care whether he's half what..all we know that he's got Samoan blood and he's soo proud of it
I've been watching many movies of him many, many times...I'm a Polynesian ancestry from Fiji (I'm Rotuman native by the way), and seeing Rock doing island style makes me feel proud of where I come from and proud of my identity and culture. Proud to be Polynesian. Faiak'sia (thank you). Love from Fiji. ❤️❤️❤️🇫🇯🇼🇸
just some knowledge though, Hawaiian did not always have only Ks (Kauai is really Taua'i according to the real Taua'i people)...even to this day you can find Hawaiians who use T when appropriate..K is big island dialect that became dominant because Kamehemeha is from there and obviously he conquered and united all of Hawaii..
Do some research about Tagata Polenisia or study history of how all Polynesians connected, as well as, why their cultures and traditional ways of doing things are similar, even similarities of languages...
@Manoa IGNORANT PPL TEACH IGNORANCE HUMAN BEINGS WHO DON'T KNOW EVERYTHING UNLIKE YOURSELF, AREN'T IGNORANT UNLESS THEY CHOSE TO NOT ACCEPT A PROVEN FACT OR TOLD TO BELIEVE DIFFERENTLY....AS IN, THE CORPORATE MEDIA. ELSEWISE CUT PPL SOME SLACK GENIUS, WE CAN BE CORRECTED.
Even the smaller built Samoans have muscle definition or thick muscles lol and I'm also talkin bout the really skinny ones. Pretty much u never see a scrunny Samoan. Theres a difference so I agree with u
The dance is known as "The HAKA" in and from the Polynesian Islands/Pacific Triangle! That was a shorter and calmer version. #Cheeeheee #HAKA #PolysCanDanceToo #ImFromHI
Feels AMAZINGLY GOOD to be two parts NATIVE AMERICAN: Cherokee ((mother's side)) & Lakotah Sioux ((father's side))🌜🌞🍂🎤🎸🎹🎵 Great performance!!! L💙VED it completely. P.S. After 20 years of being a HUGE fan.......I can still ´´Smell What The Rock Is Cooking´´°°°°°°°and it smells GOOD!!!!!!!
He does *not* strike me as the type who would do well in politics. The closest he could possibly get to convincing anyone is a role in Hamilton. Probably as Mulligan/Madison.
