Nah, It’s probably a joke. The first dying light had a side quest where you fought actual ghosts, and another where you were abducted by alien chickens.

I don't mind if they wrap it up tbh, it could be Canon, but firmly no longer possible, have a cool reference, but otherwise be grounded, however I dunno, it's already a zombie game where you have super powers fighting alot of people who keep up, and elemental zombies. Multivariate alone isn't bad, we hate over saturation, and when it's done poor, this seems well done, and doesn't try to go crazy, but also as a fun idea could give multiplayer a in game explanation, along with characters joking how there are multiple of you

Multiverse concept has been around forever, just not mainstream(I mean those that didn't touch comics). In this instance I think the multiverse concept feels weird, if its for a joke, then sure but... its not some gimmick to be taken lightly.

Fr, and nowadays it just removes all the stakes from a story, now if a character dies or an aspect of a story or film isn’t liked, a writer (or more importantly, a studio) can just go “muh multiverse” and reset everything. Who cares if a villain wins, or a character dies, or plot point comes to a conclusion, if you can just hit the emergency release to invalidate it all in a few words?

If you choose to fight him I'm pretty sure you're rewarded with an outfit (I have no clue what it is tho because I didn't do the other ending)

Well ofcourse, it's already confirmed that like DL the Following, DLC2 will take place after the story so Aiden does infact leave Harran We could see this ending however as a different reality where Aiden does destroy his universe, with ours being the one where he doesnt

It astonishes me that Techland see everyone adding E3 mods to the game that bring back cut models, textures, animations, etc. There's an entire mod bringing back an old map THAT THEY WILLINGLY DROPPED. Then THIS is what they produce. Wtf.

Credit roll and then when you go back to play nothing new happen you are exactly where you started at the pk base

Nope. You get a boss fight and a full gear for the game as a reward for finishing the quest. Also a different ending.
