it's honestly insane how much better this game looks with a photorealistic art direction and less vibrant colors. good work seriously, this looks like a completely different game and just like E3.
This looks like a true sequel to dying light ( atmosphere,lightning, inmersive world worth exploring/parkouring) it's amazing how a small group of people can get me more excited for a product than a whole company with way more budget and resources, congratulations to everyone involved in this proyect because it looks incredible and can't wait to play it!
If you look at the mountain at 3:06, you can see houses there that were not on the old trailers. And the castle itself has become much more detailed, including the water tower. There may be a lot of interesting things waiting for us on the territory of the Eagle Castle, perhaps even a war for these territories. Personally, I suggest introducing some faction into the forest in the style of the Seraphites from "the last of us 2" or the Edemites from "Far cry New Dawn", who had a conflict with the peacekeepers and we decided who to help. But everything is gorgeous as it is
Watching this honestly just saddens me of how much we were robbed of what couldve been. This version, even at surface level, looks more complete and polished in terms of visuals, down to every single detail in the dirt and rusted buildings, the level design, and especially the gameplay climbing animations look more refine. It looks a game that had love and expertise put into it. Such a let down from the state that dying light 2 released regardless of them trying to redeem themselves with small updates to bring back what shouldve already been there since release.
They shoot themselves in the knee with the Far Jump and other jumps like that. In this video it's far more grounded, you don't just fly 30 meters away after every single jump.
God!! dying light 2 would benefit so much from just an entire visual overhaul, toning down on the vibrancy and sticking to a theme. 98% of humanity has fallen. The world itself is in ruins, but the people who inhabit what's left of this wasteland can spark hope, they are what really matter. It's in the name, "Stay Human" that they were obviously going for a "what will people do when their life is constantly endangered? Will they shed their own morality just to survive? When does man become monster?" whole angle. It's a shame they were so focused on humans that they forgot the reason people are endangered to begin with. Really hoping that dlc2 sticks to a grittier atmosphere, focusing on how we deal with the infection and the difficult choices in ensuring our own survival. The gameplay is awesome, but the story and world make that difficult to see. If they manage to capture a fitting atmosphere and story it'd be amazing. Anyways really good job😃👍
I would have 100% waited longer to have tech land bring us this version of the game, seems like my wait is now on you guys. God speed y’all this is amazing.
I can't believe this is fan made and looks better than the official game, shame on Techland; and I also hope that this will be official in the game in the future, at least the color palette because the official game has very saturated colors and it doesn't look like a post-apocalyptic world
It is even better than e3 like...wow... The graphics aim for photorealism just like DL1, the gamma and shadowing that looks somewhat pale in e3 is perfected, I couldn't even imagine the trailer version looking better than this and yet... damn, amazing job👌
Phenomenal work, seriously. I do feel bad for Techland in a way, they've still put a lot of work into what we have now, but by god every time I see DL2's older stuff I really do believe they fumbled hard by dropping it. It's just all really pleasing to the eye, and that's not me saying that what we have isn't also pretty in cases, but I really would've preferred the visual and environment style of what they were initially cooking with Elyseum. Development can be hell sometimes 😅 Again, phenomenal work, I can't wait to see how far you take this, keep at it 👍

Looks incredible, especially the animations, but what happened with the lighting? It seems a lot darker now, unlike in 2018, but more like the gritty filter. Either way, keep up the great work
I subbed instantly, kudos for trying to save Elyseum. It's a shame what this game could of been, lots of factions and new regions that got cut off. Thank you for doing this.
hey look, lets make a fully detailed map just to show it in gameplay trailer, then cut it the fuck out from the game and tell players that it wasn't meant to be in the game just cuz someone was falesly accused of sexual harrasment good thing that team like yours wont let that slide and work on bringing it back
There have to be some things that weren't needed to be cut out either. Like I doubt they had to cut out the old lighting, textures, animations, etc. for legal reasons. They just did cause they could. Game took a turn for the worst after that scandal.
This looks amazing, I hope this map can be played on consoles with that same parkour and that same world, I can't wait to see it and play it, good job.
Doesn't look like official work, look at dl2, its empty as hell, there's barely no detail to the world. If Techland did put as much effort like this small team did, dl2 world would have been amazing. But its not.
Now this is Dying Light 2, which I was dreaming of. This is it. I loved every shot, detail, and every speck of dust in this show. I am now crazy 🤯 I am speechless as a lover of Dying Light 1. I can say that this work is excellent and amazing in all respects…. I want to cry of joy 🥹🤧
It just makes me wonder why did they remove something like this This feels like a game called dying light 2 The one we have is dying light 2 Roblox like I swear I've tried multiple times to believe that we could go back to the same vibes later in an update but everytime I just look at my armor the hud the happy npcs I just give up The npcs themselves their animation their way of talking makes me feel like I'm watching a Fortnite colab The devs should be ashamed of theirselves for choosing to make dying light 2 as it is now ( a 370hours of play time player saying this)
Bro dying light 2 would of probably be like one of the best games out there if it actually looked like this sadly it’s a disappointment now that’s why not a lot of people play it
Please guys, for at least a week, make this map avaible. Just for the taste. I a damn tired to see Elyseum in core game at its state. I swear I could cry, that such thing declined from public.
Absolutely ridiculous that a small team is making a better map than a AAA studio. I know everything about the Avellone drama but still, there's no excuse for how bad of a sequel DL2 is.
