I used to think these things were complex and required an engineering degree. As I aged, I discovered they are simple.

Those fins that go in that wheel should be faced so the rounded end it out and rubs on the outside of the housing as it spins. The gap at the top of that wheel should be set with a feeler gauge at .06" gap. And you need a small pressure gauge to set the pressure on your pump so it doesn't run too rich or lean especially if you're burning diesel instead of kerosene because it's a little thicker when it's cold.

Hi. i got 2 of 'em. DYNA GLO model KFA 50 H. FUSE checks good, on circuit board. Cleaned the air pump, / motor spins easily. Cleaned photocell, adjusted it for to ' see ' the flames. All seems good. There is no life, whatever, on the red light by the on/off switch. ANY IDEAS, OR.....a new control board ? or is it, some other feedback sensor ? THANKS, FOR ANY HELP......

To confirm do these 50k btu have a thermostat you can set temp? I see the bigger ones do it didn’t see on this model I’m wanting to buy one but want to be able to set temperature

My heater red light comes on and fan comes on but it does not light. It will shut the fan off about 5 seconds after you turn it on because it does not light. The plug is firing and a fine mist of kerosene does come through the heater. Any ideals on what to check next?

Can you use this heater with plug? Also how long did you have it before it started doing this ?

Just bought this same heater 1 month ago and it just quit working. The red light flashes nothing else happens. Sometimes it works and sometimes it don't. Menands wont exchange it because of kerosene smell .Customer service was no help, Any ideas would be appreciated .

I know it's not brain surgery or rocket science, but I needed this thing to work again & you allowed that to happen with your video & your patience & simple explanation. so, I Thank You.
