Most of the time with new ignition models it's the ignition like you said as well as cracked hoses. all you have to do now is dial in air intake in the rear until the nose cone is cherry red.
No that's not a return line in that nozzle housing. It's designed so the pump in the back of the fan pumps air into the front line on the nozzle, which sucks fuel up from the tank and blows it thru the nozzle in a fine spray mist and it's ignited by the igniter. The proper gap in the igniter is to be set at 3.5 mm to work right. All there needs to be is a spark (like a spark plug) for it to work properly. They are pretty simple but need to be kept clean to work right.
Nice flame thrower. Yea it was the gap I have the next size up from yours had to open it up so often I only put in 2 screws There’s a filter in the pickup tube coming from the fuel tank always clogging up couldn’t tell if you have one too
Yes this does have a pick up screen too. I've had to replace the intake and return hoses on this unit too. They are making these things cheaper and cheaper. This one is only 3 or 4 years old
2:02 time. The smaller hose (left one) is the fuel supply. Probly kerosene. The other larger one, is from the air compressor, opposite end of fan motor . I have 2 of these, models KFA50 H , and, both wont show nothing, with the switch turned on. I think, its the control electronics, on the board. Anyway, cleaned them up, and am looking for these boards (part # is 215A-0048-00).....good luck, Mr Henderson !
You have unscrew the fuel nozzle off of that stem.there is a tiny fuel spreader inside there just inside the nozzle hole that needs to be cleaned also. You didn't do that. Compressed air will clean it if you bow into the end of the nozzle. That will blow the dirt out backwards, which cleans the nozzle out also.
I have that same model. When its cold in the morning, if you hold your finger over the adjustment screw while you turn it on, it starts instantly. It has that little pointer in the owners manual I just found out.
Yea I have a 125btu and at first it caught on fire I wa like oh shit threw water on to it 🤣🤣🤦♂️ then I hold the fan let it ignite and the flame 🔥 came on and it worked but not good because I turned it on and just lit up for a second then spit out diesel and smoke probloly going to try and to messe around with the spark ⚡️ also hoses are dry rotted too think that’s my problem oh well 🤣🤣🤣
