Actually, the VA for Dong Zhuo is pretty good. He is one the few characters that isn't awfully dubbed - -' Also, i really like how Yuan Shao became so strong in terms of character. Really, sometimes it feels a pretty badass leader in these cutscenes (i didn't play the game, i'm just speaking about the cutscenes)
I appreciate that they made Lu Bu look more handsome not like his past versions of him having a large jawline and cheekbones. I dont like what they did to his new voice though.
uh...that's the old VAs that have been doing it even before 7. 9 is where they changed. the only thing that changed for the prev games is the better direction and pronunciation (remember cow cow?)
To be fair some of the new voice actors are actually really good. Such as: Yuan Shao - Dong Zhuo - Liu Bei - Cao Cao - Liu Shan - Zhorong - Lu Lingqi - Diao Chan - Yu Jin - Zhou Tai, and I know most people hate Gou Huai and Sima Yi's new voice actors but I think they're great because they fit their characters' personalities
Some of the voices are actually kinda good. I wasn't sure about Cao Cao, but his voice kinda grew on me. Zuo Ci sounds pretty good, too. I just can't get over how... droll Lu Bu sounds, though. They neutered the dude, for Pete's sake.

Yuan Shao and Zuo Ci actually sound pretty alright in these. They should've picked different people for those with low voices. They sound like young people trying to sound old.
What the?😨is Cao Cao riding Shadow Runner horse, that's the best horse in the older games, hummmmm 🤔 it's seems he is the original owner, not surprised much 🤗
2:27 *Makes eating noise while drinking* The voice acting in this game really IS horrendous. The pacing, the lack of emotion in most characters, and the overall blandness in their tone. Should've rehashed a lot of it, it was good in previous DW games. Not even funny bad.
Da fuck with Zhang Fei's voice... And they fuck up the actual names pronounciation, like Dynasty Warrior 8 never taught them the betterway to pronounced it...
Dynasty Warriors and bad voice acting go hand in hand but the terrible implementation of the Open World made it an above average failure for the franchise.
@@OdaSwifteye Yeah, I agree with you on the Open World, (the series definitely didn't need it.) but have you seen Dynasty Warriors 8? Vic Mignogna, Kyle Hebert, Wendee Lee, Laura Bailey, and even Jamison Price. These guys aren't no-names like these new guys they found, these are some of the biggest names in voice acting who knows a thing or two about voice acting quality.
the art style of the Dynasty warriors series has become more and more ridiculous over time, i find it impossible to take seriously as i once did when i was younger, i wish they tried just once trying to go back to their roots a bit.
