Another early Dyson ad, this time featuring the first Dyson cylinder cleaner, the DC02.
The commercial claims that the Dyson is the first vacuum cleaner ever to work without a bag, which was clearly not true. It's funny how quiet the DC02 seems in the ad, so again rather misleading.

The DC02 was the first Dyson vacuum that I had in 1994. I was amazed by it, the look and design of the vaccum, and no bag. The suction was very powerful on this. This was the first Dyson cylinder vacuum too. The earlier Dyson vacuums had good powerful suction.

why is the logo so creepy but the dc01 ad Is not ?

Because the newer logo looks more rounded and not as creepy. The DC01 ad that uses the current Dyson logo was probably done in the mid to late 90's.

Ah yes, I forgot about the Rainbow, probably because I don't care for their products but they do a very good job at cleaning. I just prefer my FilterQueen in staid of messing around with water and cleaning the separator an the glass bowl and so on...

+mark89474 zelmer first bagless, type 126 (cloth filter) was made in late 70's and produced to late 90's it was a small vacuum cleaner (i have one)

Why do people always talk about suction and airflow, if you don't have a great brushroll that agitate, both suction and airflow are useless.

But their brushrolls are equivalent to Chinese Dyson knockoffs. total junk. No contest indeed Dyson would win. Without a good brush roll to agitate the fibers, airflow is useless like a fart in the wind.

@@hellothereknownasunknownus6535 Fantastic Until the Bag Fills and Well its hopeless. I admit While the Bag is Empty a Henry is a Great Vacuum. I was very tempted to buy one the other week, But Meh! I brought a Dyson V11 instead. Sorry Henry 😔
