Thanks very much for the clear and complete instructions (some other presenters miss out important steps. I didn't have special tool for the belt but managed to wrestle the belt onto the brush bar My machine went 'pop' and stopped working which I diagnosed as a blown motor. Got a spare from Espares, found your presentation very clear and removed the old motor. Decided to hot wire the old motor and test it direct to the mains - it nearly threw itself of my bench so I deduced that it was ok and replaced it. Tried it again and motor went 'pop, pop pop' then stopped. I stripped the machine down again and fitted the new motor, re-assembled and it now works. I'm dead chuffed but Mrs C very disappointed as she hoped to replace it with a new cordless. Still not sure what the fault was but it's now working again. We've had it since 2007. Thanks again. Excellent video, i was changing the motor brushes and this was invaluable. Next time you are in the Coachman i'll buy you a pint (and the camera crew a G&T)
@8.54 "not to be confused with this one, but that one..." No other video I watched pointed out there were two in that location. Not surprising my cover didn't just lift off like in those other videos with that screw there still in place! If only I'd put my glasses on first :) Thank you.
