1999 BMW E36 M3 2604 lbs with full tank and 185lb driver. Stock S52, no aero, narrow body and 245 Hoosier A7 (2nd event) with stock gearing (3.23). Round 3 of Bimmer Challenge was my shakedown test for "Patti Mayonnaise" after all of the new revisions had been completed. First session I was definitely feeling awkward back in the car since it had been a few months and the new driving position was so unfamiliar, but managed to get faster and more comfortable throughout the day, snagging first place in B2 class. Chassis feels amazing after its visit to RS Motorsport for the cage and can’t wait to see how it compares on the other tracks I have data for comparison. New AIM equipment provides such a nice driving experience and JMP killed it on the install. Definitely room on the table for a 53', maybe even a 52' with some more laps going CCW. Most of all I am just happy to be back in the driver’s seat and can’t wait for Round 4 in Vegas next month!
