I’d like to see a back to back comparison switching from e85 to 110 or 112 race gas in a stand alone system. I know we made more power on gas through the plate and the engine lived longer. 13:1 406 and 13.5:1 415ci SBC’s that both went mid 5’s in S-10 trucks at 3200lbs
My initial plan was to run C12 in the enrichment. You know how it is when you reach out on FB. Some people "whose name I will not speak" say never run C12 with E85 and N2o some say it's better.🤷 I gave up and just decided to run X98. I am interested in trying gas in the enrichment. Hit me up on FB I would like to talk about that approach. 👍
Truck is sweet I watched some older carb vids iam new to 4150 carbs I run a 600cfm dp mechanical sec on a 270 300 hp na combo on a 302 where would you start with jet sizes primary and sec thanks. Your vids are very informal
I think what I was trying to say is, with a leaner jet stagger on the NITROUS jetting and pulling some timing it will hit harder and make more power. A 58N is only like 125-135hp so pulling maybe 2-3 degrees and having a 10 stagger might be stronger. I can’t remember what total timing the new engine made it’s best power NA? 🤔
@@TPVPRO I agree, the e85 usually likes more timing. 39° is pretty high but it’s proven so it’s the bench mark. It’s definitely harder to read the plugs because it runs so clean.
I'm running X98 in the enrichment. I have heard 12.0-10.9 to keep it safe. 🤷 So I'm not sure what to do. I'm shooting for 11.5. Have you run E85 and N2o with success yet? As for a reference my motor made peak NA at 12.0 AFR on E85.
@@TPVPRO Do you have a return style regulator for the nitrous? also i run ngk8s all motor how are you getting away with that for nos lol my engine is a 421sbc 14.1 on a 300 shot
