EA HAS COMPLETELY RUINED THIS GAMEPLAY - FIFA 21 ULTIMATE TEAM 

No team in the world with Mbappe, Neymar, Varane, Mendy, Rashford, Cr7 in their line-up would park the bus. I came up against a 10M squad yesterday who just ran around with 1 CDM, I went 3-0 up and he quit out. I won but I didn't have fun because the stupidity fried my brain. Oh but we can play friendlies.. Hang on... Everyone parks the bus there too. I manually tackle and it bounces back 2-3 times. They go through on goal and score with their 1 opportunity a game. I love creating content but man, this game is so dull. You're right in everything you said. The step-overs helped, they were nerfed which would be OK if they also changed some defensive stuff but they didn't, making running around with 1CDM 1-depth more OP. Braindead company and braindead community.

They killed the beautiful football game by replacing one touch pass with skill moves. Only skill moves can save your match. Yea you don't have to do it to score. The game will reward you as gift to do this things 😂 The DDL/DDA things! I am 100% sure that AI was designed by somebody who don't watch football in eyes! Simply this is not football! Hardly I can say it could only be futsal! 😂

Gameplay is so hit and miss. I think it’s coding. You’ll get decent gameplay after it toys with your mind for a couple games. One week I’m winning 80% and following week 20%. Wash, rinse, repeat. Worst part are possession dribbling whores. You steal the ball and goes right back about 10x in a row. Finally you score a hard owner goal and then concede a shit kickoff. So much of this game is truly out of your hands.

Imagine if inception worked at ea my god this game would be insanely addictive with his POV and intelligence.

Fifa is catered to casual players. They won't grind out the game and will pay for packs to build their teams. EA knows this, so they implemented DDA to balance the gameplay for casuals. The idea is if a casual can win more, they'll play more and spend more. If DDA wasn't real, there'd be a skill gap. With the current meta, there isn't one.

No tactic works some shit is just stupid in this game some people the just use y and they kill you with that shit your defenders they just freeze and look at the ball passing in between them also I create a lot a chances and they tackle me they push me crazy and no calls at all by the ref but against me it can be just a lil touch to the opponent the referees be killing me this game is so frustrating , irritating, specially when they are dribbling and the second player just looks at the ball literally just staring at the ball and let’s not talk about auto block is so annoying

My theory is that they always start making defensive AI OP once TOTY is close because they know if they don't, these cards will just blitz past defences like some Marvel Superhero. IMO TOTY ruins the game because they are such OP cards in the stage of the game where most ppl will still be using a gold Varane and it will be impossible to defend against these God tier cards if they don't beef up the defensive AI. Game is utter dogshit, and I mean fucking abysmal, basically if you controll your defender, like you are supposed to when defending you get punished by these super through-balls no matter how calculated and precise you read the play/pass, literally every game I have controlled my center backs I get scored on, coming from a D1/D2 player. OP skill moves, daft rebounds, bad pen calls, and most of all that 1998 gameplay connection. Games is bollocks.

Man last wl broke me. I actually 'enjoyed' the game before the latest patch. Last weekend I had to stop playing after 6 Games because I was literally playing in slowmotion. Playing against drop back counter attacking rats is one thing but with the gameplay becoming even slower and players not moving at all it is just unplayable. Even the gameplay in friendlies sucks now. Man I still love this fkn game and some days I can play it for more than an hour but I feel like I'm already at a point I normally only get to in April/Mai. I feel like EA never killed a game gameplaywise than they did this year. Sure you had op finesse shots in 19 and OP dragbacks and Ben Yedders in 20 but atleast you had a way to score against dropback. Now its just passing the Ball around until a Player decides to make a run. And somehow autoblocks and AI defending are worse than ever. Man its sad that the only thing that keeps you playing is the concent. Sad. Its just sad when as a Person that loves anything football related and grew up with FIFA since 2003 loses the love for it. Please god give us an alternative to FIFA.

100% Correct again Inception. I thought at the start of the game it seemed an improvement on the last few years, but it's seems to be getting worse again with all these patches etc... I changed my formation in game to 352 with 7 depth just to try and make it fun, but even then, the blocks, defensive AI, pass registration make the game not enjoyable at all, year on year we get sucked in. Keep up the great content, I only watch you and Nick, both very good 👍

I played the 10 hour trial, and decided there and then I wasn't buying it. Was too similar to fifa20 at that point in terms of gameplay. It's now got to a stage where it's actually worse than fifa20 ever was. So glad I never purchased it.

Accuracy level 1000000%... Skill moves are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too OP. Also its inconsistent, sometimes players don't track you other times they track you like a swarm of damn bees

I gave up after Fifa 2020, I got fed up having more shots and more possession then the scripting would take over during the second half and help the other player out. I then tried it myself for several matches, first half I played s**t, gave the ball away, I then found during the second half my players would be over powered and score easily, I didn't want to play a game that is scripted as F**k. Love football, but don't miss Fifa, I have lots more spare time to do other things.

This is not a game at this point, it's business actually. Ea knows, the more it allows dumb players to win this game with stupid mechanics the more money they'll spend on this game thinking they're good. And if they don't do it their profits wouldn't be as high as it is. This is not just fifa, it's literally every single "product" they make. Their only motive is to drive profits that's it. Their stupid pay to win structure actually works hence it's in the game. I've just accepted that this isn't going to change anytime soon. So I just play with my friends on local to have fun and that's it.

Remember when EA sold this game on how Manual defending would be more rewarding... EA needed to remove custom tactics full stop, just keep player instructions. The tactics are too toxic and is ruining the game. I often just quit the game champs inc if I face someone playing this game toxic using exploits to try and be successful at the game, I guess my problem is I refuse to play this way because I want to play football how it’s played in real life.

The answer is simple. It's all about money. They are not dumb. It's designed for all types of players including the bad players. What do you think happens when they create an actual football simulation game where you need to play intelligently? Big skill gaps and bad players get shit on and leave the game greatly lowering the popularity of the game, drive away the majority of players playing the game now which results in EA losing so much money. Never gonna happen. They put everything in place to prevent that from happening.

I played a guy who parked the bus and I had 13 shots on goal and 13 blocks by his AI defenders and he counters me and scores every chance he had and then he wasted time after that goal and kept the ball in the back. This game was good on launch day and then after the first patch, this game became the 2nd worst FIFA of all time. With the same nonsense players and theirs no skill gap. People who just started playing FIFA can beat people who have been playing this game for decades. I hate EA they just want money.

Ive only just watched this and its still relevant and will be still relevant in 10 years time ive been complaining about handicapping and inconsistent gameplay since fifa 12 when i started ultimate team i played fifa since 96 btw but since i started ultimate in 2011 on fifa 12 its been the same old problems every singe fifa and every year me and friends say hopefully it will be better next year and its ok to start with like 21 was then it just gets ruined again and again it will never change ea don't care because the sheep keep pumping thousands into the game and that all ea care about is money and we will all still be complaining about the same shit 10 years on from now but im considering going back to pes as i always played that aswell and preffered it up to 08 then fifa took over then pes came back on 16 up to 20 but now I've got to the point where ive had enough of fifa and going back to pes mainly because of the same old problems every single fifa

I do think the root of the problem is the casuals that EA has to please. Not knowing how to trade etc. they resort to buying FIFA points to improve their teams. They are EAs biggest money makers and they would stop playing if they were constantly losing games without the help of the overpowered AI defending. That’s also the reason the game tends to be at its best at pre-patch before the bus parking people haven’t had the chance to complain that it is too hard.

i used to play on d1 and got pissed everytime i play this game and at some point i wanted to punch the monitor and break some controllers. then i tried playing coop in rival with friends or somebody, the gameplay is still shit but it is so much better to share the pain and just laught at ea and the gameplay, now im playing on d3 d4 but i genuinely feel so much happier. i suggest you can try do coop with friends or audience and try fun team or fun tactics.

How come professional players and people who can break down the defence and AI interception and tracking enjoy the game a lot, granted gameplay has been atrocious but compared to last year the content and gameplay has been ten fold better. I have to say that scripting and handicap momentum can be changed in game you just have to control. Also don’t let the game let you down, people who do well and enjoy don’t sit all day and play the game and stay angry. Go for a walk, breathe abit and come back like you would any other game.
