Well officially it's the first game in the serie.. there is no legacy. I wouldn't be surprised if this game is way more stripped down compared to other platforms

Prior to the name, I suppose that Electronic Arts can well do without that. The fact is that the conjunction with the Fédération Internationale de Football Association, which the software development had first started simple partnership on the EA Sports Network over the years, is to be and has to be disbanded. Part of the reason for having the partnership was for the _Professional Evolution Soccer_ series from Konami to follow up and compete with a similar body of international football back in the 90's just as the official license of the association is held and taken upon the agreement; but now, this long-lasting promise has ended and set to go into termination, and that subsidiary possibility is no longer required.

They were obviously very happy with this change to Nintendo switch they haven't released fifa trailer for Nintendo switch since 2017

It was on Switch before with PVZ Battle for the Neighborville.

Hopefully this will get covered by Digital Foundry, was a little disappointed they didn’t pick up PvZ on Switch as I think they did a really great job with the performance and visuals for the port.

They said they were considering it as it’s Unreal Engine now instead of Fox Engine, but with the dumpster fire that was the first eFootball, who knows - I’d love it, too since competition on the same console is great

im still playing pes 2013 with mod on 3ds

it’s on their plans as far I know but the game runs not very well on the current gen consoles, it needs a lot of optimization

I think it's more to do with ea being free from the restraints of fifa for them to do this

I am also look forward to my player. I really hated there was less customisation in past fifa titles on the switch, But this year, there’s actually more customisation, making your own player unique.
