After church, my mom would play her ‘spirituals’ on the radio while she finished Sunday dinner. This song would make me cry. I was hoping to find it as it will be almost 8 years to the day she went to be with the Lord. Thank you for posting this sweet memory.

Mr. Ford 11, thank you and surely thank your dad for this childhood song. Every Sunday morning-as a child-my mom would blast gospel music on the "HI-FI"....But when this song would come on, my family would sit in a moment of silence to listen to this song. This is when I first made spiritual connection to my God. Last week, my brother texted me-and he is 46-with excitement that he found your dad's song on youtube. For over 3 decades I have been trying to find this song....I BOO-HOOED as a child listening to the song and I BOO-HOOED now at the age of 43......ONE OF SOULFUL GOSPEL THAT IS LACKING IN THIS DAY AND AGE......SONGS LIKE THESE WERE LIKE GOSPEL LESSONS TO BE LEARNED AS A CHILD!!!!!!

When I was bullied hard in middle school, this song would come on "Brother JC's Glory Road" on Charleston SC's WPAL on Sunday mornings and soothed my soul. This was around 1978. Even though my life today is far better in comparison, it still makes me smile with it's message of Hope in the face of adversity. Thank you Mr. Ford. I am so happy to see that it did the same for so many others.
I grew up listening to this song at my grandmother's house when she was alive. I am 30+ and this song still comforted me cause it keeps me grounded, aware of company and have an awesome relationship with God; which comes with having faith and trust in him. So thank u Tana for introducing and instilling God in my life.

I found this vinyl last year in bermuda because I was drawn to it. I had no idea it was not a big well known album. It seems not many people now about this music. I could only imagine what it was like growing up with this kind of music. I’m 20 and I’ve grown up with music nothing like this but I love it

Mr. Earlston Ford 11. I used to play that song on the radio in Jamaica on Love Fm. The first time I played it, so many people called me at the station and were in tears. I lost the record and glad to find it back. Blessings to your father and you and family
I can now see Copper Jesus appearance at the young girl's window. Before I just could not accept that image. Hiding in Egypt, Egypt is in Africa. That image dont match scriptures. this because the Bibke says its a shame for a man to have long hair. So glad I can know the Truth now. Not what someone paints but what He reveals.
