Before the HGV licence came in i he’d a spell on long distance driving ,I spent many hours in the ques at Liverpool docks waiting to in load, at this time I was studying law through the OU ,when my employer found out he tried to deduct time as they weren’t paying me to study . I do hope hauliers now treat their employees much better nowadays. I have just found your channel and I enjoy your travels,later in life I used to get great satisfaction telling certain snobs I used to drive a lorry.

Thank you. The Spainish tend to not have a dustbin for each house but rather have big skip type bins at regular intervals. Each house then takes their rubbish to them. I have noticed that these bins are usually emptied twice a day. This maybe to keep the smell down but also rodents and flies away. Big cities are the same as ours and have a teams of street cleaners that go out through the night tidying their streets.
i remember in 2007 i got a load of tiles in spain to take to BnQ in uk they put me 16 tons of them nice even load i went back from santander to plymouth
The difference between the UK and Spain at lunch time. One lot stop the job and all wander off for an hour or more, the other lot continue working their backsides off eating a Ginsters whilst answering the phone, loading the lorry and arranging the paperwork.

Hey Monty👋🏻, great to know you’re watching, the weather was a bit better for my video than it was as for yours. That was savage! There was some financial help available for driver training, don’t know if it’s still there but it’s worth checking. It’s not for everyone but I love my job. There’s a lot of different types of work, local, supermarket, general haulage, etc, I do long distance because I like it and I’m happy with my own company. Have a look around your area see what’s available, some companies offer in house training too. Let me know if/how you go. Take care 😁
@GBtrucklady There's a national shortage is there not? I've came across adverts where they will provide the training, but unsure if that meant fully paid or not. My parents were courier drivers and I went with them. I've done delivery work and love driving in general. I think it's a role I'm nurtured for. I'll keep you updated, thanks for the advice, and will check out more of your videos. Hope you are well and you get out camping.
😂 I have my moments 😂😂 Yes still in the Bumblebee 🐝 In a perfect world my favourite would be a right hand drive, 2axle short wheelbase, V8 Scania. But it’s not my money anymore so I drive what I’m given. 😁
If it was only that simple! All that happens then is a hole is drilled in the tank or the sender pipes etc are removed causing more damage and additional cost.
