Early WINTER creek BASS | What lures are working??  

G'day everyone! Some early winter bass was caught while testing out the Tiemco Hecate 7…great little lure, I think it can work quite well during the colder months.
Caught a few fish, but most importantly missed a few boils and dropped a couple of very nice ones too on other lures. This tells me that these freshwater pools I’ve been fishing have a decent population of bass that decided to stay in there during winter instead of heading down the salt…which means I can expect some more action during these coming couple of colder months 🙂
Please remember I’m in QLD and we are allowed to target bass in the fresh during closed season. Only tidal waters are closed for bass.
