Hey, RitasEatas! In this video, I'll show you how I made my Earthquake Sheet Cake. This is a delicious cake, and my favorite thing about it is, it's quick and easy, and always a hit and a crowd pleaser! It's a cross between a cake and a brownie but has all the taste of a German Chocolate cake! I think this will be one you'll be adding to your recipe box. Enjoy💋
Here's what you'll need; I'll show you what to do:
1German Chocolate cake mix
prepared according to box
2cups flaked coconut
1-1/2cups chopped pecans
1cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
8oz of cream cheese
1stick of butter
2cups of powdered sugar
NOTE: To get a really cool looking top, don't mix those dollops of cream cheese mixture into cake batter too much. I do this bcus my family prefers it mixed instead of just dolloped into batter, but you decide.

This looks delicious! I have never heard of this cake before. Tomorrow is my son's 24th birthday and I'm going to make it for him. He loves coconut, pecans and chocolate! Hey Annabell! First, thanku so much for joining me here, I'm glad to have you!! This cake is soooo good and it's quick and easy, and based on what you say your son likes, I think this one will be a hit🥰 As far as milk in my boxed cakes, I always replace the water with milk and add a box of pudding in if applicable *like with this cake, I added a box of chocolate pudding. This just gives your box cake a more scratch texture. However, if you don't have milk and/or a pudding, just follow box directions and it will work just fine. With this cake, feel free to drop some small chocolate chips in the batter too😋 I'll be watching my notifications so feel free to ask any questions. I didnt have any pudding, but I did use the milk instead of water. Next time I'll get the pudding too, although I can't imagine this cake getting any better! @Red Julia thanks for coomenting. This video is over 2yrs old, however, to see what you're talking about, I went back to look at it bcus, I'm not a "panner". I always have my camera on my tripod as I cook. In this video, I came back to do my reveal and to my surprise my family had cut and started to eat the cake before I showed the outcome. I proceeded to show and talk about what happened as I "panned" so the audience could see. Is this what made you make this comment? The last 3mins of 13mins? By this point, I had did the complete recipe, no panning.
