I watched a video when someone used strawberries as a ground cover! Love your idea of starting the babies in little ground pots! I agree with you to not over complicate strawberries!

Try picked green strawberries. It sounds weird but they actually taste really good. This one of those things that you only get when you have a garden. No one is out there selling green strawberries.

Do you suggest full sun for the Strawberry patches ? I got a border fence that's shaded under a three story Red Mulberry. I have been keeping wild flowers there but hell free strawberries

I don't like true full sun for any plant. If I could have 8 hours of sun then shade the rest of the time I would even for tomatoes and peppers. These get about 8-10 hours of sun but the ones under the comfrey grow great without as much light

@@FastGardeningMichigan let me get some of that comfrey sometime ( if you get another big flush) . I'm putting it out front along the drive way and in front of my mail box ha let them try and make me mow every week and I'll just fill up all my property with zero lawn grass ha
