I made the Kim Cheese using tahini instead of oil and adding some unsweetened plant yogurt and nutritional yeast and it was by far the best vegan cheese experience I ever had. Outrageously delicious and so easy on the tummy.
Comment Thanks if you found this useful Burger Spring onions Thumb size Ginger 2 cloves Garlic Half Chilli Full block of tempeh 3 table spoons of tamari 2 table spoons of maple syrup 1 tin of black beans 3/4 of a teaspoon of smoked paprika Juice of half a lime Salt to taste Kimchi Cheese Handful of cooked potato 2 heaped table spoons of kimchi Handful of red pepper to add colour Looks like 4 or 5 tablespoons of sunflower oil Kimchi juice to get texture Some salt pepper to season Serve with pesto Avocado and tomato
Tempeh is made from whole boiled beans and bound with mycelium. Tofu is milk curdled with an agent and the bean fibre removed. They're quite different.
Love Tempeh and wish to try making my own 🤞 Nice recipe lads 💚 Wife has banned me with Kimchi now 😥 Even though I left the jar top loose I left in the sun and it exploded 😆
Disappointed at the oil in the sauce. I'll add some healthier fat, maybe tahini. I imagine the flavor would be masked by the kimchi and red pepper. Looks bangin' !
I don’t get it, how do you get juice from kimchi? There isn’t supposed to be any juice is there? Been eating kimchi for years, including in Korea, and I never saw it floating around in water before.
