Man oh man, I long for some of that good home style cooking, we just don't find that here in Southern California, everything has to be organic and fancy and chic, just give me a plate of good food and I'm a happy girl. My husband and I went there this past August for our 40th anniversary. My husband had the roast beef and I got the wagyu ribeye steak. It was the best steak ever. We live in WV so we go to the Amish Country quite often. Gonna have to get back up there and try that chicken. It looked so good.

I grew up in Sugarcreek. So when it was millers Dutch kitchen we were there all the time/ my dad was best friends with the owner. I will say. I would rather have my old school millers Dutch kitchen back. But I’m more traditional lol

I enjoy your reviews very much. The Smoky's and Pa. Amish Country are two of our favorite spots to visit. i appreciate the fact that you know how to order if you know what I mean. You order food you should enjoy if its prepared properly and you articulate the experience for us. Its frustrating to endure some so called restaurant reviews that are random, uninformed and sometimes unfairly critical and biased. Next time you're near Philly you'd enjoy the food, sights and myriad delicacies you'll find at Reading Terminal Market. it's a foodie destination worthy of your trying and sharing. take care.
