I'm on Minn Kota's guide program and they have been extraordinarily good to me. I actually wanted the non self deploy but they convinced me this was gonna make my life so much easier and that they tested the snot on this new model and I wouldn't be disappointed or deal with issues. I have no first hand experience with the Kraken unfortunately

Yeah, the shape of the hull and the new auto deploy design of the Quest Instinct was very tricky to mount. It has to extend out a certain amount and it's dang heavy to boot
check your CFR codes I believe it's supposed to be a minimum of a 20-inch throwable life ring not a cushion on a boat for hire. KNIFE SHARPENER? you mean knife blade destroyer. that's what those type of sharpeners actually do. they destroy your blade.
Very cool. I just ordered a boat today. I'll be copying your ideas! Is the bucket good enough for your charter customers, even female ones? The boat I ordered doesn't have a toilet, either. But it has a nice size pilot house cabin. I am thinking just kick everyone out of the pilot house to let the lady sit down on a bucket like yours.

Hi John! I’m curious if there is any reason you went with the brand abyss for the TM battery? I’m currently considering an epoch. They look very similar with the epoch being slightly cheaper
Ha! No chance. Boat is living at my boatyard. I have a slip there and they will haul out and store for winter. No chance the Ridgeline can remotely tow this boat.
@@jiggingjerksshould be fine I just went to a 60ah, I bought from the biggest Rhoda distributor in the whole USA. He told me 60ah is plenty he has regulator 24s with it. He went as far to tell me if I was unhappy he would take it back and credit me and I pay the difference
