This recipe originated from my family. I’ve altered it slightly so I’m not sharing the exact recipe. It’s still ridiculously tasty! Feel free to serve with bread, toast, pita, tortilla chips, crackers, vegetables and more!
SLOW BAKE CLAM DIP RECIPE
2 loaves of Italian bread
Lemon juice from half of a lemon
Minced garlic (dash)
2 8oz blocks of cream cheese
2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce
Hot sauce (dash)
2 tablespoons of beer
1 Chopped/minced onion
1 can of chopped or minced clams *I used a 6.5oz can in this recipe, which is minimal and you barely taste them when eating. You can adjust as you prefer and even interchange the meat - for instance, use lobster/crab/chicken, or even no meat!
Bake at 275 for two hours.
GET CREATIVE! Don’t like clams? Try adding something you do like! Want extra crunchiness? Maybe try adding celery! Make it your own and have fun!
