Thanks for these Oakensoul builds lately! Low intensity alternatives that are still perfectly viable for so much content is refreshing. I definitely want to try this out on my Necro. Question: is lightning staff simply so much better for heavy attack setups that it just doesn't make sense to use other weapon types or is it more of a convenience thing? Is it numbers-wise far beyond other weapons because of the damage ticks and skill line passives? I would love to see a 2h heavy attack build but wouldn't want it to be drastically less effective.
Meh, I'm still around 82K with the same situation. Can you show the crit dmg and go on (blue stuff on cmx) I'm almost 20k behind with the same stuff :o must be cp difference
I enjoy watching your build videos, and I by no means have watched all of them. I don't have enough people to do trials, and I'm not big on just random people and healed. Feel like trials are something that you need to have cohesion and understanding what to friends. With that said, are there any builds that you have that can be made from dungeon drops or crafted or gotten from some of the arenas that are just as good? And my character is a master crafter as well
@@NefasQS I see. I like this build but I’m a sucker for theme so Ill probably use the ghost for most stuff and then switch vigor in for challenging content
I'm on console so I got curious of what he did during the Zaan fight when he got snared, what was that teleport out of the Zaan snare? Is that an addon?
Yes but Oakensoul will provide the Empower mandatory buff with 100% uptime, without it you need to have some class passives or active skills (Mages guild for example) that bring that buff up.
I would simply say no. You would need to get all these buffs (esp Empower) a different way and that would also possibly cost sustain. Thats a lot to compensate for. (Also need to fill the second bar with buffs and change the rotation, you will have less time for heavies....)
Trap is actually a strong dot now even if you don’t need minor force because of the passive for slotting it and also the hemorrhage status effect is very strong damage.
@@joshpalmer7118 Nope it won't. They want more accessible builds, why do you think they've nerfed so much content and made the skill ceiling stagnant while raising the skill floor? If they were to nerf anything now it would be the set, not the ring.
Anyone else having some issues getting good spell crit with this setup? Dont wanna switch to light armor but only getting around 51% spell crit (thief mundus). I miss my kilt :D
On the dummy meteor does more damage cuz the dummy doesn’t move and meteor is cheaper But destro últ is better in content in most instances because it has better burst
For solo content, things may move around too much for stationary AOEs. For single target, I found the graveyard duration to be inconvenient as I missed out on more Blastbones casts.
@@xboxgamerz22 I mean it’s not that it’s no good I just think it’s situational, if you’re in a group and adds/boss are more stationary than graveyard is still good
