Easy Abstracts - How to create abstract art without thinking. 

I found that when I want random loose strokes, I use my non dominant hand. It really works because the dominant hand wants to control and make specific tight strokes. Try it. It’s great for highlight and adding accent or contrasting color details.

Lockdowns we’re totally uncalled for specially when the politicians do as they please. I pray your eyes are opened. God bless great process with the paints. Faith over fear my friend.

I can not thank you enough for this little exercise. Tried it and had trouble loosening up at first but then started to really let my perfection go. The real "wow" moment was when I took them apart. Each piece was something I would have never have created on my own.

Well Well Well this is great! I have a long story 65yrs but don’t have the energy to explain. I have been searching for over 12 months for what where and when I actually produce repetitive good art. I fortunate to stumble upon an outlet for frustration and to find my style. I am a little late in seeing your video. Who do you call when you need to chat about art? Ha ha it’s not obvious to many people it’s actually you tube that has brought my journey to art. My lucky stars. I’ve subscribed and will follow with intensity to learn watch and eventually create art I’m happy to do.

Thank you for confirming to me that the feelings I have can be expressed in paint. I’ve watched a thousand RU-vid videos of contrived “abstract” paintings that feel, to me, to be hackneyed and redundant and totally without originality. I m happy to see expression that seems to be without “instruction” of rules or commercial acceptance. You seem to express yourself from your soul. I want to have the freeness and spontaneity you seem to have in your creations. I have “liked”, I have subscribed, and I want to learn what allows you to be so free in your expressions.

Love this idea. I often feel I can't paint randomly because I will be wasting but this will help loosen me up and make paintings!

I love this. I can’t relate to the lockdown feels - I’m in WA and we’ve avoided needing to lock down with the exception of about 2 weeks across 2 years. My mum just came back from Victoria though as we are originally from there. My nan just passed away and her funeral had to be cancelled due to lockdown. such a shame that this has been allowed to spread again 😔 you guys keep copping the worst of it. I hope things are locking up for you guys.

Great video from a wonderful channel. Art books have provided me a much-needed escape from real life. I have my easy chair set up with a desk, a lamp, a blanket and a cup of coffee. I spent many hours with dragons, unicorns, space battles, pixies, knights, and now with my National Geographic books, the vast undersea world of the coral reefs. My art books are the best investments I ever made. My 4 favorite books are: - Wonderworks by Michael Whelan - Color and Light by James Gurney - Infinite Worlds by Vincent DiFate - Great Fighter Jets of the Galaxy 1 by Tim Gibson

I did this with a large format and I just loved it. It was so much fun. Got many compliments on my pieces. I’m gonna try it again today to loosen up with some smaller pieces and maybe a different pallet. Thank you so much for those ideas.

It was so painful hearing about your lockdowns and your freedom being strangled like that. What's been going on there is shocking, to say the least. oh my goodness thanks for your creative inspiration it really is sometimes the inner voice that tries to limit my focused attention in creative expression but watching videos like this have been such a peer pressure shift in not being stuck in the mind and intuitively experience joy in just being able to create spontaneous and curious experimental styles or materials and fully emerge your souls beautiful natural need to create and nurture our passions in peace free of blockages or self sabotaging
