In this tutorial, you can learn on how to paint easy and basic way on painting a tree in acrylic using nylon flat brush only. The steps is from creating the circular dark green mid tone strokes then adding some darker green as shades the the last part is putting some highlights. All in just using two nylon flat brushes. It's a full step by step instructional tutorial in just 22 minutes, you can learn this simple basic steps for beginners.

Phthalo Blue / Ultramarine Blue / Primary Blue
Brilliant Red / Primary Red / Cadmium Red
Medium Yellow / Primary Yellow
Raw Umber / Burnt Umber / Burnt Sienna
Brushes:
Number 12 Nylon Flat Brush (Long Handle)
Number 8 Nylon Flat Brush (Long Handle)
Number 7 Nylon Flat Brush (Short Handle)
Number 3 Nylon Flat Brush (Short Handle)
Number 0 Nylon Liner Brush or Round Brush

I have searched and watch alot of painters because I just started painting I almost gave up until I found this man I did alot of time in prison watching and learning from him helps my mind and my sobriety he is the best teacher I have found thank you from the bottom of my heart John you help me in do many different ways you do not understand thank you and my family thanks you and I paint with crayola brushes and paper and dollar store paint because if money situations and I still have improved a 100% because of you thank you

john. you dont know how you help me to define colors with just three basics, i used to think that those three are isnt enough, and bought more and more, and thought it would help me, but it isnt, in fact it was more complicated. but one of your tutorial opened the art of the mind for me. and the most major thing was that you told that any blue red or yellow are ok. and indeed... one natural color which is black and one contrast which is white, and blue red and yellow. much appreciate
