This recipe is great! I have made it several times. I have experimented with it adding peanuts, walnuts ext. But best experiment was adding 2 Tbsp of preferment I had from a loaf of bread going at the same time and gave it a 30 minute rest time. It Made an amazing cake rather than a brownie but was devoured by my children.

This was my first time baking anything. Everyone loved it and asked for recipes. Awesome video :)

I made this brownie twice. 1st using dark chocolate and cocoa powder. It's turned so bitter. So I made 2nd time today. I substitute with chocolate chips and Walnut. Also, reduce cocoa powder. It turned not as bitter. Only thing I think I slightly over baked it. It became quite hard and too dark at the bottom. I used an oblong shaped pan instead of a rectangular one. Would that make the difference? Since i used good quality of cocoa powder, the aroma is so delectable yummy

Hello just to verify, you did not add any baking soda or baking powder right?

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ I tried this and it didn’t work for a very importsnt reason, BAKING POWDER! Add 1 tsp of baking powder before baking (Oh and edit: I recommend baking it at a higher temperature because I tried at his and it didn’t bake, at all)
